Do you think people with ‘fucked up’ kinks don’t know they’re fucked up?
I don’t disagree at all with what you’ve said. Using BDSM situations as an excuse for non-consensual behavior is a horrible thing. Rape is a horrible thing. But it worries me - even as someone who has no desire to engage in any BDSM-type behaviors myself - when people conflate what someone does - onscreen or off -…
You realize that men can have rape fantasies as well, while also not being rapists, and that there isn’t anything wrong with that, right?
How was it inappropriate? The OP implied that an actor doing a scene is obvious proof that they are a rapist. It simply isn’t. Not that I doubt Deen’s guilt I quite frankly have no reason to disbelieve the woman accusing him especially if he isn’t even denying it.
So do you also think that if a woman is into rape fantasies, it’s because deep down she actually wants to be raped for real? She’s, as you say, telling you who they are? Or does your sex negative judginess only apply to men?
This is the problem with feminism. We all assume we’re all on the same team. I don’t want to be lumped in with the sex-negative sort, like you.
Um...have you ever watched any of his interviews? Or movies? He comes across as having narcissistic personality disorder. I guess if you’re cute it doesn’t matter, though.
Because consensual BDSM play has nothing to do with actual rape. Many sex-positive feminists engage in BDSM without it conflicting or cancelling out their feminist politics.
Well aren’t you naive and perfect. Please don’t dismiss the feelings of victims. This is not the fucking place #NotAllMen, christ.
Lots of women have rape fantasies. Please remember that kink shaming is not okay, and neither acting in nor viewing videos simulating rape is an endorsement of actual rape.
As someone who was abused by a prominent member of the BDSM community and deleted my social media accounts because I couldn’t handle seeing him praised as a “feminist”, I’m awed by Stoya’s bravery. I hope she gets all the support she deserves.
You posted a comment on this entry 15 minutes after it went live. So either your google alert for MC went ping or you read Jez pretty regularly. Either way, you are reading and commenting on precisely the thing you say you aren’t.
hahahaha...you’re doing a good job...commenting on a celebrity interview.
Eloquii has it. It’s exactly like that without a v neck.
“If you’d just BRUSH your hair more often it would look good!”
The flag of our people. We’d raise it high, but we can’t figure out how that flagpole rope thingy works exactly.
Hemtrails! Spotlights can’t melt high heels!
It is SO FUCKING sexy. That, and hold a kitten. We’re done.
