To be fair I told my Grandmother similar when at 23 she had a group of nuns praying for me to get married as I was so old.

I went to school with one. She eventually married at 27 and is a successful attorney.

No one is forcing ministers, rabbis, priests, muslim clerics, shamans, pastafarians to be forced to officiate any weddings. The orthodox religions are still free to say they won’t officiate to those that don’t share their faith, that are divorced, mixed race, that are pregnant, that failed their personality test…
