I lot of people without celiac disease, especially those into fitness, try and avoid gluten. Again. not saying it’s science, but it is not uncommon.

I all the hard core crossfit/fitness types (many are cops and ex-military) try to eat paleo-ish (not arguing the merits, just a comment) and the one thing they rarely cheat on is the gluten. The exception I’ve seen is the occasional beer.

We can also grow. I admit as little as 10 years ago I wouldn’t have been as accepting of the transgender community, I didn’t hate them, but I would have snickered when confronted with it and would have rolled my eyes at some of their very real concerns.

I can’t disagree. I’ve been shocked at things people have said, people that I’ve known for decades and never suspected of being the bigots they are. I’ve removed a few from my life completely.

Some things don’t change, if you’ve experienced hard core financial insecurity, have been hungry, that’s hard to get past.
