First 5 minutes of “Up” destroyed me. I was a wreck.
First 5 minutes of “Up” destroyed me. I was a wreck.
Looking back I feel so sorry for one of the prettiest girls I knew in High School. Her mother, in front of a bunch of girls, told her how she was so much prettier then all the other girls (she was) and they would be jealous and mean to her because of it. Maybe, maybe not, but they were sure mean to her because “her…
One of the first things that pissed me off...there will be many more.
I’ve already yelled out a few things, bordering on jibberish. Not running naked...yet.
I think many non-Repubs have been watching the Republican debates, admittedly there are a number of them hoping for fireworks from Trump or others.
Holy hell, the old “both sides do it” crap. Yeah, you have one Dem, Webb, who promptly dropped out who complained about his time allotment.
I say it, too, and I’m an atheist. That being said I’ve had it said to me, or the other one “Jesus is the reason for the season” in an aggressive manner, like to prove a point, and screw them, they don’t even get a Happy Holidays back, they get an eyeroll.
I once worked with a really nice Christian guy who I got along well with. I called him open minded once and he flipped his lid and went on a full blown, very uncharacteristic rant about it, yelled that no he’s NOT open minded at all. I always wondered how that had been twisted into something bad.
Who said he didn’t have the right to state his idiotic beliefs/opinions? I am under no obligation to applaud them and I am well within my rights to think his views are backward.
I actually said that out loud when I saw the candies, made me laugh when I saw your comment immediately after.
Yet the states that turned down the Medicaid expansion saw INCREASED costs to the taxpayer. The ones that accepted expansion saw savings. But whatever, facts are boring.
As much as I don’t like Kasich, at least he recognized there were real world consequences to turning down Medicaid expansion. Life and death consequences. So he told the TP types to deal with it.
I have at least three friends who will be destroyed financially if Obamacare were to be repealed. They are all Republicans and i think they don’t realize that they are benefiting from it because they pay for their insurance. D’oh. They will be dropped so fast your head would spin and I don’t know that they could…
I am getting dressed up to go to the bottom of the hill of my new neighborhood. I live in a cul de sac that has long driveways so the neighbors (who I don’t know) gather and give candy to kids that go by on the back of trucks...or so I’ve been told. I almost wish I’d be drinking and reading the internet at home.
I wish I had never heard of it. I read Salon and the damned video ad came up 3 times while reading one article. It has made me not read their stuff this last week.
My parents didn’t let me put up posters (not that they were strict, but for some reason this was a big “no”). I would go to my best friend’s house when I was 11 and just be in awe of her Tiger Beat poster covered wall. I was sooooooo jealous.
Avoiding kids who you had crushes on is very, very normal. I’ve even seen adults do it. One guy I knew had a huge crush on a friend. She was good with this and went to talk to him and he saw her coming, and I kid you not, took off (almost running) to avoid her. I about died and she was not impressed.
When I was little, I remember crushing on Leif Garrett and Shaun Cassidy for their oh so, for lack of a better term, “pretty” looks. If I had been your age I would have felt the same about Devon Sawa.
Yeah, for like 100 guys. It took Dick Armey and tons of money to organize this “grass roots” movement into what it is today.
