Okay, I have to come clean. I love alternate POV’s. Love, love, love them. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister was amazing.

Crap. I was 19 when I was finally willing to try shrimp (as a kid I KNEW that I hated all seafood, because I was a shit) and I told my Mom it was okay but I hated the way the shell crunched and the legs. The look on her face was perfect.

I don’t really care what they want other then to know how to combat the recruitment. What did the Manson girls want? What did Patty Hearst want? What do suicide bombers want?

I do know that they are killing tons (thousands and thousands) more Muslims then Christians and secularists (and yes, secularists are killed, too) and you don’t hear much about that, because that doesn’t really scare us and fear is what sells.

They are in the bubble. They don’t trust the media, it’s just there to make their side look bad. Propoganda.

What’s scary is the girl’s probably felt empowered getting to pick their husbands. SMH.

OMG, so true. Super smart girl, even if the field is science and math..you should go to law school! Because....I have no freaking clue why.

And what’s ridiculous is this girl is probably the only girl signing up for the class, it’s not like it was going to be overtaken. I understand there are less women in Engineering now then when I was in the 80’s.

We had to stop friends from suggesting their magic cure alls while my husband successfully, but painfully treated his lymphoma. He called it magic oatmeal, magic mushrooms, magic tea, etc. and had to get blunt to STFU with idiotic advice. It still pisses him off.

It’s up there with letting your kids get brutal sunburns because it will make the kid’s skin “used” to the sun and not burn so easy. Thst’s not how it works! Oh, I’ve also seen that some of my anti-vaxxer friends are all concered about how “toxic” sunscreen is. AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

We hear that but, from what I’ve read, I haven’t seen one student willing to testify against her.

I just went to a “cute food” restaurant in San Jose. They had a foodie version of this that was the best damn thing I have ever tasted in my life.

Yes, but I doubt you’d see peas in any of them. :)

OMG this is my husband’s reaction to any, what he terms, “food suprises”. No suprises in his food ever. This applies doubly to nuts for him. Especially in candy.

I still never want to watch the original ending to Pretty Woman, even if I only kind of liked the movie. The test audience hated it, too. Sometimes the audience is right.

Okay, that looks scary & good.

A friend of mine named Phoung changed his name to Phil because his resume got more call backs that way. With his original name many idiots assumed he didn’t speak English well, etc.

Yeah, except none of the other candidates have been “tough” enough to call him on his garbage yet. Much like after Roof’s shooting, the R’s were all “Who knows why he did it...” They seem to NOT want to be reasonable, wonder why that is?

Yeah, I think he’s not on the low side of his 60’s, even though that’s what I heard.

Even better. Good for him. :) I only saw him/this because I love the song and this topic reminded me of it.
