LOL, me, not so much... Oh God, oh, wait ouch, or ummmmmm (because I'm not smart enough at that part to think anything). Oh My! Never. Especially now that I can only hear it in George Takei's voice.

I think I only know old, boring Christians.... I don't know any that have come to see the light. Maybe I'm lucky.

I hate Twilight, too. I was responding to a comment "Second, labeling something as a romance in book form or film form instantly turns off a large portion of the male audience." And I agree with this statement. Labeling something a romance or a romcom makes it, at best, for many men a date movie only.

I've heard of humble bragging, hadn't heard of humble repenting. This guy is gross.

No, I was being silly. I actually know people that cringe at the thought of sex being consequence free. Like it's a bad thing. I don't get it either.

There needs to be consequences! /snark off

Exactly. As a teen and a young woman, the main thing I was afraid of was babies. That was the fear that kept things safe.

I agree with your points but I think that the bias isn't practical or smart on the studios part.

Only if they are reporting oil finds. If they are using carbon dating, not so much.

Yeah, if the gubmint had been involved in science and stuff we would have never gone to the moon, never mapped the genome, never eradicated polio through an immunization project, etc...

His opinion is as valid as Jenny McCarthy's or mine.

But he's made money. Lot's of it. It makes him an expert on everything. As an enviable job creator his opinion is worth so much more than those government workers (practically on the dole) that work at the CDC.

I agree. An ex of mine lost his virginity at 9(!) to a 15 year old girl. At 12 he was sleeping with a woman who was in her 20's. At 15 he was with a 35 year old woman.

We all have our quirks as tourists. I've seen some fellow Americans doing the "I'll just get louder and louder until you understand me" thing in very nice places and it makes me cringe.

I also know a non-practicing Muslim couple who did the same. The dad was quizzing me down about a few things because some of the things his son had been taught sounded kind of crazy to him. LOL. I had been raised Catholic and explaining the rosary, etc. to non-believers is kind of hard.

No! It's good. Really!

  • Huitlacoche is delicious. And so are sweetbreads if prepared well.

I know a lady that went too big. Her boobs looked like bubble eye goldfish cheeks. Like they were going to blow because the skin looked so taut.

This seems a bit like the guy that just cut his nose off kind of plastic surgery.

A friend from college went to work for AB. She told me years ago that anyone can brew an off beer and call it character but it takes skill to make the same beer, same quality, same taste year after year.
