You play way more aggressively than I did. But I was the girl that always really wanted to make the shot. :)

My issue isn't my boyfriend but my Grandpa. He had a hard fast (insane!) rule of $1 a head for a tip. 105 dollar tab, 6 people, $6. He was always quick to pick up the tab. The trick was always managing to sneak more cash on the table without him seeing it, and me and my sisters always did.
I worked at a firm with about 40+ people years ago. We used to order pizza for lunch time staff meetings.
I don't love the idea for myself, but I know more than one couple that are married to their first cousins. One of them was an arranged marriage and they are one of the nicest, most stable marriages I've ever seen. They adore each other. To each their own.
I don't even think he believes this stuff.
I think it might have always been this way. It's just that it wasn't recorded and we just didn't hear about it.
We can't even do this in more serious movies. Off the top of my head, Master and Commander? Oops, the bad guys have to be French not American. The hero in Seven Years in Tibet was an SS Sergeant, that gets downplayed. The Last Samurai? The story this was based on was really French guy, so it we couldn't have that…
Yeah, but it seems white people collecting items floating by, like bottled water, were seen as scavenging. Black people, as looters. Those guys that were shot going over the bridge trying to leave New Orleans were suspected looters for no reason other than their skin color.
Tell me some pundits and/or comedians you think are not bitch-ass sissy. I'm curious.
Others have pointed it out elsewhere... These gestures are fine IF the woman/girl is already your girlfriend and you know she 100% reciprocates your feelings.
I know! I'm hoping that the boy's Mom found out about this and really let the Dad have it.
This was a long, long time ago... He was an officer, your story made me think of him for the first time in ages.
I dated an okay, very book smart guy once, but we weren't really hitting it off. It was long distance, so not really a big deal to me, but I didn't want to be mean and just wanted to move on.
I have to wonder what kind of ass wants someone fired over this kind of stuff. A freaking minimum wage (probably newer) employee following the rules.
I think most don't. All these people have fantasies of "wait until the world finds out how bad you are!" and no one cares.
I don't know if it's normal or not, but my husband and I don't have locked phones so we both have access to each other's info.
And I don't think that's how divorce attorneys work, but maybe I have CA bias because we have no fault divorce laws.
I'm also concerned that the one who did it first was comfortable asking another teacher to join her later. And that she said yes. WTH?
Boomers are 1946 to 1964.
