Yeah, but when do we get our checks? There seems to be some sort of delay.

Jeez, if doggy style is "crazy," I'm a madwoman.

It was interesting that, while Hannah thinks of herself as some sort of sexual maverick, all she wanted to do was missionary. Kind of a waste of Riz Ahmed's talents!

It's too broad, or rather, the acting is. They're all wide-eyed, speaking in high-pitched voices, mugging for the camera, and seem to be saying to themselves "This is a comedy, this is a comedy, this is a comedy." Also, you'd think realtors could pronounce their own job title. Hint: it ain't "real-a-tor."

I agree. I think this is what happens when you abandon the weekly format. I think it would have been a pilot-end reveal/cliffhanger, and people would have had to wait a week to find out what is happening. Also, reviews wouldn't give it all away. Kind of sad to see that kind of pacing disappear.

I don't know; Timothy Olyphant is very broad in the trailer. He needs to be directed to rein it in, I think. I've noticed that he often misses when he's in a comedy. But I love him, and oh my god he is gorgeous.

Nowhere Man was fun and intriguing for the first couple of episodes (and starred the very beautiful Bruce Greenwood), but it never went anywhere. We hung on, but it just sort of petered out, and then was pulled, I think?

I meant the whole show. That's the pre-recorded video for And Dream of Sheep from the show, Act 2.

Side two of Hounds of Love, The Ninth Wave. Incredible.

I'm hoping someone leaks the video to YouTube, but as it's under her control, that's unlikely. Damn.

Her tone did come down as the half hour progressed, but it irks me beyond words that she can't ever say the words, "Fair point" when Noah says you can't attack a whole movement based on the actions of a few, just as you ask us not to call Trump a KKK-sympathizer, just because the KKK love him. One example of many

This is kind of sad. The biggest contributor to climate change is beef cattle, so let's hope she doesn't eat factory steak every day.

Poor Bill Maher is going to finally break down and cry.

I heard it when it came out. My understanding at the time was that it was created out of the snatches of music she (and her producers) made for television commercials.

Irish is her first language, so singing in it is natural to her, but what I meant is that it isn't in the tradition of Irish music. To be fair, I haven't heard anything recorded after Shepherd Moons, so this might no longer be accurate.

Out of loyalty? There's nothing Irish about her music.

There are two actual songs on Enya's Watermark, both beautiful. The rest is just awful, as was everything that came later. For one thing, she can't sing. Her voice is weak and quavery, which is why there is a couple of empty cathedrals' worth of reverb on it. Yuck.

So nice to see San Francisco! I miss it so much. And a wonderfully pre-tech-bros-looking San Francisco. The characters have barely touched their cell phones so far. I'll give Hugh a chance (that was totally accidental, I promise). Mol is okay, not my favorite, and the dialogue is often painful, but I adore him, and

Almost! It's really

I loved the bit with the birthday card in the store, where card after card was, well, white. Lawrence finally found one, ONE, that seemed to know someone like him might want to buy a card someday. I loved that this level of detail is in the show because I, a white woman, am not always aware of what it must feel like
