That's what I said.
That's what I said.
Some of us use "cinematographer" because we operate our own cameras. I tend to think of DP's as people who don't. It's not always true, of course, but it's a distinction some of us make.
The filmmakers lived in New York, where they were fairly highly paid film crew workers (on other people's projects) most of the time. They saved their money, and between jobs went back to Minnesota to film, picking up where they left off. This is common for first-time documentary and independent filmmakers.
It is a common effect of male-on-male rape that the victim becomes aroused and ejaculates. This is something that makes it incredibly difficult for men to recover and see themselves as a true victim. It is a physiological response, not an emotional or psychological one, but still the unexpected orgasm creates a…
Yes. And I was shocked the first time I saw it…so unexpected after such a brilliantly funny series. I have only watched that last ep one more time, when showing the series to a friend.
China Beach: One Giant Leap, wherein Booney loses his leg at the end of a grueling hour. At the time the scene of him and the team in the pond was extraordinarily complex for a TV show, what with the night shoot (realistically underlit) in a downpour and the underwater amputation. Beautifully written, shot, and…
I hadn't realized he died. Wicked, lovely Flashheart!
I love what Stephen Fry called his "angry logic."
The Queen of Wales (Catherine Zeta-Jones) Christmas message to her subjects makes me wee my pants, every single time.
I have put test blood into hundreds of tubes. When blood is put into a vacuum-sealed tube like that, it is done with a very thin needle, which is inserted deep down into the tube, then the needle is extracted. The rubber seals around it, and NO blood gets onto the top of that seal. If there was blood on the top of the…
That article misstates many things, pretty blatantly. And you have misstated what the article says. It repeats Brendan's "confession" verbatim, as though it is fact, despite many serious problems with it, including the complete absence of blood on the bed/mattress/entire bedroom area where Theresa was supposedly…
What a brain you have.
And Andrew Garfield is in the 1st episode.
They were running a junkyard, so finding such things isn't terribly significant, I should think. And I've had handcuffs in my life!
Very plausible.
I am not inclined to believe that the cops actually killed her, but it is possible they found her and did the rest. It's also possible that something did happen to her at Avery's (although the calm phone calls between Avery and his girlfriend don't seem to support that), and he panicked because of his past and did…
Original Kermit! I was so in love with him. Like, seriously.
The only thing worse than Megan Boone's wig was her insistence that the wig was fine. Actually, worse than that was/is her acting. Is that show even still on? I loved the Spader, but really, that girl is either completely miscast or just a bad actor.
The writing was terrible in this episode: ponderous, heavy-handed, and just plain bad. And I have no idea what Christine Baranski is doing, but she seemed like an automaton throughout.
I see; thanks. I hated that show, never watched it. Now I'm out of the loop.
