Of course it's a discussion - it's the start of one, at any rate, with the comments being the next step in the process. And even if it weren't, this is the AV Club's site, and each writer can DISCUSS (or, if you prefer, write about) his/her topic of interest as she/he sees fit, subject to the site's publishing

Oh good grief - you don't understand hyperbole when you see it? Of COURSE the study's results don't hold true for every individual - why on earth would you even presume I meant that it did? That's just absurd - and you're obscene.
