Based on the trailer, this looks kind of like a “Brawl Stars for PS4", which is a good thing.

I’d love to see fines replaced with something like a mandated donation to an organization on some allowed list maintained by a party outside of the police department. Stopped for speeding? Instead of a $100 fine, it’s a $100 non-deductible donation to a group that provides mental health services to the homeless.…

Neither company is focused on proceeds from hardware sales as much as they are about the software licensing. You’re only going to make that hardware margin once per console sold. Conversely, you’ll only take that loss once per console sold.

The folks I encounter tend to fall in the “my vote doesn’t matter” crowd. They feel like a single vote has no impact...until I point out that millions of votes is really a collection of millions of single votes (it sounds really stupid, saying that, but it’s crazy how many people overlook it).

I like this take.  They were trying to launch a gaming platform AND a game-streaming platform at the same time.  Once they realized how bonkers this is, they were too far down the road to just stop...they oversold it and had to deliver something..
