I love you.

I want to be very careful about how I state this, but I think we shouldn't be too quick to judge this without knowing more details. My parents are very immature, and I basically raised myself and my younger sister. I mean, I kind of potty trained her. If she had a nosebleed or a bad dream, she ran to me. I was the one

There is no way that a 14 year old should be tried as an adult. ever.

I read that NYT article some time ago. I'm not a mental health professional, my lay person's opinion is that ignoring early symptoms of disease is never helpful, and usually harmful. In the cases of disorders and diseases that develop over the course of a lifetime it seems very foolhardy to ignore treatment in

Yes! I have his book on request at the library right now :) It was actually this that sent me down the internet rabbit hole that ended up in me reading the NYT article here (which is actually a few years old). I really do think that studying these people that are non-violent psychopaths and figuring out how they're

Yes we are. This is the first time something like this has ever happened in history and now the entire world is spiraling downwards into a cesspool of wild violence and evil.

I have to say, I don't think a 14 year old is an adult, no matter what they do. I'm sure many disagree with me...but children tried as adults never sits well with me.

fashion industry. done.

And yet . . . let's not forget that Dracula is still feeding on anonymous victims when the need strikes him. Just because we haven't seen him rip the throat out of some poor, unlucky coat-check girl for a few eps doesn't mean that he isn't still a supernatural serial killer . . . which is bound to trouble Mina

Strangely, Dracula is the least fiend-y of the lot!

Let me boil this down a bit: There are misogynistic jerks in all walks of life, Gays included.

One of the BEST season finales EVER! Bets already being taken on who is truly dead, you know, with the current trend of TV shows unkilling people.
Give us a 2nd series!!!!!!!!!!!

This show is mad as a bus full of giraffes, and I loved every second. Though I note the only characters' fates that I ended up caring about were Lady Jane (glorious character, right to the end), XX Renfield and Chief Engineer Kowalsky (who ran the Tesla machine).

I can at least confirm, from on of the series writers, that NBC has ordered more scripts. Not that that is a guarantee of anything, since they order scripts and pilots for all sorts of things that never happen, but at least there will be a season 2 on paper...

It's fascinating that they're telling the story of Dracula where you are rooting for the fucking vampire and go "Renfield! Nooooo!" when he gets murdered to death like that - and you actively dislike Van Helsing and Harker. It's like finding a Dalek you like and intensely hating the Doctor.

We don't know why Patrick from Coupling left Van Helsing alive, it was never explained. It was hella funny when he didn't remember Van Helsing.

I suspect you rushed through this review because you really want to get to the Dracula one :-D

Sweaty underboob is pretty damn sucky.

Oh, John McCain look at what you have wrought. We could be ignoring Tim Pawlenty has he rambled on about the debt ceiling. But no. Instead, we have... this.

Its nice that she had the resources to make the choice that she felt best suited her family.
