The funniest part about Pepe Silvia is that I told a buddy who is a HUGE Sunny fan last year that my favourite part of the joke isn’t the craziness of it all, but that it exists because Charlie is illiterate and can’t read “Pennsylvania” on the envelopes AND I BLEW HIS MIND. He had never put that together despite

This is some privileged gibberish. You know who wants to stop me from getting married? Lots of people. Marriage is a contract that the state grants that provides tangible legal protections and recognition of a relationship. It’s not just a “oh you want to get married? go say you’re married.” That’s a nonsense

The owners of chick-fil-a are homophobic. The charity under their name is homophobic.

I doubt every chain and their workers are. In fact, I know of a few that were absolutely LGBT that worked there.

Matter is, no, Chick-fil-a is not homophobic, but the people who run it and the charity it supports totally are.

Bike riders are easily the worst. Fuck those clowns n their Lance Armstrong cosplay outfits all bombing down the rail trail at a whopping 15 mph like they’re training for the Tour so they can go to the craft brewery later and sit around in their too-tight shorts trading Strava readings while complaining that the IPA

You mind drawing the distinction, since it’s a ‘pretty big difference’?

You, sir, can go fuck yourself. My “sin” is none of your business.  Flagging you for hate speech.  I’m not playing around here, people.  You judge me, I judge you.

There’s a difference between supporting “traditional” marriage, and campaigning against marriages that aren’t “traditional”.

Jesus, it’s a fucking fact that the owners of the company hate gays. Can you actually read or are you blinded by your love of mediocre chicken.

They are evil. A lot of companies are. You might be too if you think gay people deserve to be denied human rights.

I mean, it’s definitely the owner’s right to donate to whatever organizations he wants to and it’s definitely my right to not patronize his restaurant chain because I emphatically disagree with those organizations.

There’s no such thing as traditional marriage, unless you’re talking dowries and bigamy.

But as long as Chik-fil-A is willing to serve and treat their gay customers and employees just as they would anyone else

They are homophobic because they are spending money to influence legislation that effects people who are not members of their religion. A religious Christian who is not homophobic would only be concerned that their denomination not perform the sacrament of holy union between two persons of the same gender and would

You say things like their support of traditional marriage isn’t bigotry.  It’s like saying I support their right to a have a whites only organization.

Contributing to organizations and pushing to deny gay people the right that every other American has the right to is being homophobic and a bigot.  I don’t give a fuck what your idea of marriage should be.

If you don’t understand why actively supporting only “traditional marriage” isn’t, in effect, the same thing as being against homosexuality, that’s on your inability to be logical.

I see you posted this at 1:28 which was a couple of minutes before the first comments that provided multiple links as proof of the company’s activities. So now that all those links have been provided, is it still funny?

Chick-fil-A has donated over $5 million, via WinShape, to groups that oppose same-sex marriage. Of this, more than $3 million was donated primarily to Christian organizations whose agendas included positions that oppose same-sex marriage,[59] with the money donated between 2003 and 2009.[60] A total of $1.9 million

It’s a fact that Chick-fil-A is homophobic.
