Please join me on the back of the boat
Absolutely loved this episode, absolutely love this show. I agree that it's kind of slow this season, as an overall arc and whatnot, but the pacing is really working for me. It really does feel like following a family, much, much moreso than pretty much any other show I've ever

I will defend Piranha 3D to the death, good sir. That movie was neither F nor D, but rather a solid B. But I fully agree on Jaws: Revenge. Loves it.

It truly is the lonliest
Glad to see Aimee Mann's cover of One get some love.

Women of SNL had better not have any Kristin Wiig stuff.
Love and Other Drugs looks good, I'm surprised to see it so far from "tolerable." Anne Hathway is better than your favorites, and any chance for Jakey G nudity is a ticket sold to me and my wang.

I am not a Gleek.
I don't watch Glee, but I wanted to point out that the rumination on D vs. F was spot-on. An F can be fun, campy, trashy, exciting or good MSTy-style entertainment.

Oopsies
For some reason I thought this was a spin-off of A&E's Intervention, until I looked it up on Wiki.

TROY AND ABED IN THE MORNINNNG!
Danny Pudi and Donald Glover are solid fucking gold, individually or together. Loved the interview.

Todd, with all due respect, there is totally enough to pump out 1,000 words, at least for Cleveland Show and Simpsons. I'm not as familiar with Family Guy or American Dad. Why not at least satiate the Simpsons fans and have Simpsons, and Seth's Sunday Shows?

I also thought it was clear that it was a Jumanji-of-board-games parody. Jumanji, it should be mentioned, isn't the only property where kids play a mysterious game that does a bunch of awesome shit - the same author wrote Zathura, Jumanji-in-space.

Is "under the boss" some new variant of "under the bus," the best/worst/best again phrase from reality TV? I'm fucking streets behind sometimes.

Her stomach looked like an "iconic" silhouette that I, as a gay man, am having difficult describing or placing.

I hate to be Comic Book Guy, but…
Worst… Treehouse… Ever? What weak, awful trash. I was hopeful after last year's pretty decent episode, and am usually confident a Treehouse of Horror will deliver at least a good episode, even amongst the past few years I can describe as nothing other than "fucking awful." But

Donald Glover is SO. GREAT. Thiiiiiiis great.

The swastika reveal was spoiled for me because the site I streamed the episode from had that image as the "preview." I thought, "Oh, Joshua's a nazi," almost immediately. /sad.

John Hamm and Jason Sudekis make out?!
WHILE DRESSED AS POLICE OFFICERS?

Nothing but love!
I, too, will miss this season for your phenomenal recaps, Teti. They were almost always more entertaining than the show, and I found this season incredibly entertaining. Here's to season 9!

Seeing as how Michael Jackson wrote and produced Do the Bartman, the music video is entirely appropriate, though it is kind of a crap-ass song.

"Little Yee Yee" is my new hip-hop persona.

Emma Stone is killer, I'm glad her career seems to be doing so well. She's gorgeous, hilarious and seems kind of down-to-earth - I always call her the new old Lindsay Lohan, now that current Lindsay Lohan is… the current Lindsay Lohan.

Having grown up with All That / Kenan and Kel, and generally disliking Kenan, I'm constantly amazed to have to agree: he is one of the shows strongest and most entertaining cast members, and not just because the cast is kind of poo lately. He is a fucking comedy powerhouse, and his growth over his 16 year (16!)
