I’m glad to see we’re finally getting our priorities straight. We don’t need no stinking standards of care. Doctors and nurses need to live their truth. What could go wrong with a system where we are a-ok with legitimizing charlatans? Caveat emptor! 

I actually used the BBT method to get pregnant!!  I had a longer cycle and not the most regular and this method was recommended by my OBGYN nurse.  It worked great!!  Got pregnant right away.  I would never, however, use it as a method to not get pregnant.

While I never want this to replace other options, I do wish  women knew more about their cycle. It’s a little shocking how many grown women I’ve known who thought you had sex on ovulation or after. It worries me that Anti-abortion groups are pushing this as better than contraception. If you use this method you can’t…

Eh, too much work and too high a margin of error for me (only 77-88% effective according to Planned Parenthood). Plus I have zero faith in the makers of these data collection apps.
