I, for one, would love to hear a Gaga rendition of any Vocaloid song. Still, it probably wasn't on purpose.

Nope, Luka probably has the nicest voice of the main Crpton Vocaloid set.

I'd also like to add Apollo and Midnighter from The Authority. Saving the world, adopting super powered babies, those dudes have it together. It's a damn shame Apollo isn't much of a part of Midnighter's series.

I feel the same way. I've never smoked a thing in my life and I still laughed my ass off at the Tenacious D movie.

My diagnosis came out completely off. I don't really get it at all.

LeechBlock is what I use. I have 10 minutes of screwing around time every hour. The problem with it, though, is that not EVERY site I visit is on it. Lifehacker, for example, is not on my bad list, so it's where I go when my timer is up. Should probably close up that loophole.

It would have been better without Kanye talking about disrobing and probing and the oh-so-subtle cut to mating cheetahs. SEX. WE GET IT. YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SEX.

The clown looks kinda like a different Matt (not that I think that's actually who it is).

I love Tron, but I sure wouldn't trade it for Babylon 5.

But does a weird bunny creature force you to make a contract before downloading the pictures?

If io9 had a like button I would like this.

Seriously? There will never be a new Bruce Campbell because there will always only be one Bruce Campbell. Dude cannot be replace. And he also had some eye candy to offer us ladies in Army of Darkness, which McBride completely lacks.

The "AC" catch even landed a Vocaloid remix, with more versions turning up as time goes on.

I hadn't even heard of this movie until I saw a preview for it before HP7 a few weeks ago (took me long enough). At first I thought, "Oh look, Cate Blanchett as a scary FBI type lady." Then the screen was all, "Soundtrack by the Chemical Brothers" and I was like I HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE. The Chemical Brothers'

This is exactly why my mom thought I would love the Big Bang theory and also exactly why I didn't love it at all. A sci-fi in-joke has to be more obscure to catch my attention these days. Star Wars and Star Trek jokes? Meh. Give me a Babylon 5 reference or something, then I'll be amused.

Magic was where I first learned of the gender double standard. I realized that if a boy lost at Magic, it was his loss alone. If I lost as a girl, I lost for my entire gender. It was really off putting and I never really got past "Drunk Saruman" level of strategy.

Yeah, girls, how dare you ask for change!

I got into anime in the late 90's when digital fansubbing was just starting. I remember trying to download Serial Experiments Lain via IRC on a 56K connection. That was awful and yet still not as awful as the 80's, so I'll consider myself lucky.

While I get the inclusion of the singing robot dressed as Miku Hatsune for this post, it always makes me cringe as a terrible demonstration of what the Vocaloid software can actually do.

I couldn't beat Ultimacia in FF8 on PC until I downloaded a cheat program and gave myself 255 of all the best magic to junction to myself.
