@AliceWisdom: They kind of-sort of tried to give the main guy in the first and second Bioshocks backstories as well. Subject Delta had more than the protagonist of the first Bioshock who didn't even have a name that I can recall. At least not one anybody used in dialogue, anyhow.

@slick171: And yet, MGS has some of the best female characters in videogames. Why, Kojima? Why?

@midnightz: But then Indy will have a new catchphrase: NONONONONONONONONO!

@mostlysane: As a someone who just moved here to Seattle, the resistance to meetups and things like that is really irritating. Local geeks, stop hiding. D:

This game actually helped me to understand Physics class in college.

@Calliope: Me too, where do I sign up?

@jordanbaker: "They've got the same sort of breathless, totally blindered sincerity that makes even well-intentioned contemporary Christians insufferable."

ME isn't really my genre of game, but I'm actually pretty excited for this as a PS3 owner who has never had an XBox or a PC worth a damn. I love the idea of the game letting you make decisions that actually make a difference, which I feel is pretty rare in this age of the interactive movie. Don't get me wrong, I

The dress looks a bit slapdash, like it's falling apart. I can't say I care for it, but she probably had it look that way on purpose. But this is Cher, she can do whatever she damn well pleases. Lady has earned it.

Why are we acting like she made the decision to do this on her own? How do we know some zany exec somewhere didn't make the call?

@fELIXADER: It gives me vertigo a little, which is probably the point.

@Lelielle: I wanted to go to a Maid Cafe at a recent anime convention, although it ended up canceled at the last minute. In the context of the convention, all the maids would be volunteers (or possibly rewarded with a free pass to the con) and doing it just for the fun of it. I find that much more appealing than

@beamin445: I like C7s still. It's what was on our house when I was a kid, so it's got a hefty nostalgia factor. Wouldn't use them exclusively, though.

@Vegetarigasm: Yeah, I feel like there has been an increasing number of repeat posts on Jez lately.
