Carrot soup. Simple as can be, and it’s good:

Move. That’s the only thing that’s ever worked for me.

Hey kitty cats! I’m back in western Panama after a few days in Panama City. It was me, The Bartender, and a few friends, and it was fun hanging out in a big city instead of the little mountain town where we all live. We boarded the Terribly Behaved Puppy and had a cat sitter come to our apartment. The cat-sitter

Two good things happened yesterday:

I went to the grocery store and one of the things I bought this morning was jerk chicken flavored potato chips. I love random flavored potato chips. IDK why. But I buy them whenever I find them.

Except for a couple of barking dog issues, I’ve never had this problem. My current neighborhood is very quiet. I live in a 4-plex (two upstairs and two downstairs. I’m upstairs.) and my upstairs neighbor likes to play loud video games late at night. However, his downstairs neighbor complained to the property

Whee for vaccination!

First world problem, I know...but. How come they can’t make household appliances that don’t do anything except what they are designed to do? We had to replace our 25+year washer and dryer and it took us all morning (after a week of delivery headaches that ended up in us having to go pick up the dryer), to install it.

Good, real white bread is worth it. Just cut out the grocery store crap and you’re fine.  We’ll all go over to Cheers Pink Ears!’ house and eat like kings.

We bought a car!

I have to say after the completely harrowing adventure I went on last week, The crappy news keeps coming. A calling for the end to the eviction protection threatens to leave me homeless and my ankle’s still fairly weak and achy even after a week of bedrest, wrapping and icing it. This comes after biting on the idea of

My friend lives in a lower middle class suburban neighborhood where the houses are crammed pretty close together but still have pretty big back yards. He recently got rid of some old, irritating neighbors on one side and a new family moved in. The new family has a tendency to make a lot of noise, throwing parties for

Good morning/afternoon/evening Jezzies!

Another good story from his Wiki:

Thank you. Sadly, in both my mom’s case and mine, this was our first even remotely sexual experience and it was really traumatizing and set up for accepting abuse as normal. I have had a lot of therapy and now spend most of my time on this issue trying to dispel myths. Even in “feminist” circles there is a lot of

If you have to ask...

There are very few grim things that bring me pleasure, but one portion of that small set is the knowledge that Lee Atwater has been dead for thirty years and he never saw his 41st birthday. That pleasure is tempered somewhat by the realization that the stink and sticky filth of his horrid being is still slathered all

Thanks for reminding me to add “road trip to South Carolina to buy fireworks and piss on Lee Atwater’s grave” to my post-pandemic to-do list.

Are you a teacher? Do you have to deal with reactionary, frequently paranoid school boards?

I still have memories of shitty things from junior high that I carry with me.
