I don't know. I'd rather have girls than boys if I have kids (I used to be the other way around). And while I love and appreciate my friendships with women, the majority of my friends are men. That's just the way it is right now. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Birds are fucking scary. I used to love birds until I got attacked by a vulture, goose and swan all in the same year (not at the same time, though!). Birds will mess your shit up, and if they could, they would totally eat your babies.

I had a fantastic day of going through my fall/Halloween decorations, cooking up a storm and just generally staying inside out of the rain. AND I just finished watching one of my favorites, "The Miracle Worker." Now it's nighty-night time. I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!

I think it's okay to disagree (or even outright despise, as I do) with someone's politics, and still see them as "smart, powerful, and fantastic." I never understood why people feel like they have to only support or like someone who follows their same ideology.

Some of my irritation may be residual anger about having to sit in that blasted chair with a seat too small…
