I’ve been to NFL games in a few cities (Denver, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Dallas and DC), and I must have been extremely lucky to have had mostly good experiences. I probably shouldn’t press my luck and go to another one.

It really is the perfect football time zone.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

This is probably true, which is why gameday in our house is always interesting and I leave the husband at home to watch his Cowboys while I venture to the bar to watch the Steelers. God help us when they play each other.

More effective than a neti pot.

Carlsbad Caverns at #43??? Apparently, you’ve never been there.

The best part of living in the southwest is having all this stuff in our backyard! Oh, and no humidity.

Yep. That’s why I go to the local sports bar to watch my team. It’s cheaper (if I behave) than paying for DirecTV and Sunday Ticket.

Meal planning helps us get out of the “I dunno, what do you want for dinner” circle-jerk. There are weeks we plan for flexibility by just getting basics, but mostly it’s good to know that the first one home knows what’s for dinner and can get it started accordingly.

I have grouchy ankles and I use the RockTape version when I do long runs. I’m not sure about the circulation claim, but it does provide support without restricting movement like a wrap would.

I can’t read in a car, but busses, trains and planes are no problem. I can crochet if it’s a project that doesn’t require a lot of focus or pattern reading.

Yes, but you’re buying her something she will wear every day for the rest of her life. You’d make your life easier if you at least had a clue about what she likes.

Mix a little maple syrup with the peanut butter before smearing on the Ritz crackers. Yum!

I had some for lunch today. Half a pack makes a good side dish for a leftover chicken breast.

The Spaghetti-O’s with “meat”balls are still one of my favorite things to keep in the desk drawer for days when real lunch is tough to come by. The style without meatballs is just nasty!

I hear ya! I loved the Alchemys. I tried the Mizuno Inspires, but they just aren’t the same. I have the best luck these days with Saucony Guide and Brooks Ravenna. I’m tempted to try the latest model of Inspires, but will wait until they go on sale.

Totally.

It’s almost green chile season in New Mexico, which means most of the population will be roasting and peeling sacks of green chile to prepare for the long winter ahead.

Heck, a D-I school of any substance probably has the facilities for 80-90% of the events on their campus. Accomodating the spectators may be another story, but the games could go on.

I typically crochet a blanket for the baby and give the parents the adult beverage of their preference.
