Several years ago, a friend and I were flying back from Puerta Vallarta with a stop in Los Angeles. When we got to the airport in PV, the line to check in was ridiculously long, but there was no line at first class check-in. My friend decided to mosey over to that desk and see what it would cost to upgrade to first

Been there, done that.

Instructions on the cleaning products for RGP lenses say to rinse in tap water.

I wonder if the Cavaliers old coach is doing anything these days. He’d be an improvement.

I work as an Asset Manager —glorified title for “Jack of All Trades”— for a small (husband/wife) oil and gas company. We don’t operate our own wells, but have mineral interests in wells operated by other companies. I am their only employee, and as such I do a little bit of everything from accounting and records

Same weirdness that makes NASCAR’s most “important” race the first of the season, not the last. Oh well.

Some of them will do that for you. Worth a phone call.

I keep telling my husband to get carnations instead of roses, but I think he’s so conditioned at Valentine’s Day to get roses that he never does. I cut him some slack as he does get me flowers often “just because”, but he knows carnations are my favorite flower.

The Mountain West is on a roll. They had to admit that a penalty called on an inbounds play in the game between New Mexico and San Diego State was a bad call. The Lobos could have run out the clock to win the game, but instead lost in overtime.

I’m on a major purging kick and my husband is, let’s just say, not. I don’t pester him about it until his nests start to take over public spaces or my spaces. If he wants to work in a dump of a garage, that’s his problem.

Call a junk hauler.

We set it up this way since our incomes are not anywhere near 50-50. This allows us to pay common bills and set up common savings goals, but still have our own money to do our own things.

We have that that one and I really like it. The only downside is having to wash the grinder between pots. Otherwise, the coffee grounds seem to get stuck by condensation on the subsequent grinder.

I set a daily “task” of reading one chapter a day. Most of the books I read are murder mysteries, but it works well for most books as long as you don’t run across an author who breaks up 700 page books into 12 chapters.

Working on his second career as a NASCAR driver.

Yes.

My plan as well!

I don’t know them specifically, but I do know there are very picky and specific requirements for certified courses. The course at the London Olympics was kind of weird because of these rules.

By that point, it will be someone’s problem. :)

And yet, you keep beating the horse...
