No kidding. I started feeling angry about the headline as soon as I understood the content of the article.

I love everything about this picture (especially all the fab shoes!), but I super love the 1950s costume jewelry. I inherited a bunch from my great grandmother, and I love wearing it/looking at it. So pretty.
That makes sense. See, you were pulling it off too well!
Unfortunately, I completely believe that. Sigh.
I see what you're saying, but I'd also argue that gaming is not going to grow up if sexist/homophobic/racist/etc stuff isn't challenged.
I just pour it into some disposable container and toss it. Maybe I need to learn how to make some Southern dishes instead...I hate things going to waste.
That's because they're not. Given the packaging and all they're pretty damn clean, but not sterile.
If you ask any cook who enjoys traditional Southern cooking, bacon grease can be used for a mind-blowing amount of dishes. Some folks keep a container of it around.
Congrats. :)
Some of the Southern cities look nice, but their prices are more in line with urban areas, so.
My biggest quibble is how do these people find jobs?! On some of the episodes, the people are retired or they're part of a multinational corporation/the military so that makes sense, but on a lot of them it seems like they don't know they native language very well or at all and what the heck do they intend to do to…
To me there's a big difference between liking something to like something and liking something because it's some sort of nice house status symbol, though. There are certain contemporary things I really like too.
I have a strange affection for 60s/70s colored appliances. Hey, at least they were willing to have fun with color, unlike now.
Well I wouldn't be surprised if there was, say, knob-and-tube wiring that needed to be repaired or replaced, but it always seems to be more along the lines of "zomg this house is about to fall down around us."
I always roll my eyes at that bit because obviously if they applied for the show they've seen it, and know the format, and also ummm if they show you a finished house in your price range than there's no show. They should just take that "omg no way can't believe it's out of our price range :((((" thing out of the show.…
I love Sandra's unrepentant bitchitude. I'm waiting for an episode where she conks the couple's heads together or something.
Good luck on your short sale. Mr. Water and I did a short sale and it was totally worth it, albeit much more frustrating than your standard home-buying transaction.
She does a pretty amazing job if she really is doing it on those usually-small budgets. I'm just thinking that "omg something is leaking poopwater into your basement" or whatever might be played up for drama, since i find it hard to believe that twenty houses in a row all have massive problems.
"I really don't like this paint color/carpet." Because that's not like the easiest possible thing to change in a house aside from moving around furniture.
