What an awesome mom! I have been collecting mom tips lately, and I think I'll keep that trick in my back pocket, just in case.

It's such an underappreciated movie. One of my favorites. And OMG IT'S ON NETFLIX INSTANT. Thank you for the tip.
Party Down is funny, smartass-y, and it's only twenty episodes so it's easy to "digest" so to speak.
Seconded. That's what I did. It's pretty easy, fortunately.
I hope it's brie! Or maybe bacon...
Oof! Sounds like some protein is in order.
Haha. That's a perfect description of it, yes. I've got no illusions that it's anything but totally terrible for me.
Where are people going that the ticket price is anywhere near $7?! My local indie place is $6 for an evening show, but the typical multiplexes around here are nearly $10 per ticket.
I love going to movies by myself! Mr. Water is a great movie companion, but I've gone to many a movie alone for various reasons, and I find it super enjoyable.
Well, it's hard to top theater popcorn. Otherwise, though, smuggling in some trail mix or candy usually gets the job done.
Yes! I'm going to give a shout out to St. Johns Cinemas in (duh) Saint Johns neighborhood as well. All shows after 8 PM are 21+, Hot Lips Pizza, non-gross popcorn, wine, microbrews, other goodies, and only two relatively small screens. I've never seen shitty behavior there, either. It's $4 for a matinee and $6 for…
I was just thinking this. I have an old theater that is indeed $4 for day shows and $6 at night. AND they serve tasty local pizza and nice wine and good microbrews. It's a small enough theater that there's some...I don't know, accountability, I guess I would call it. I don't see people so much as touch their phones,…
I'm very sorry for your loss.
And this one too!
This one's a great picker-upper.
That particular entry is my number one cheering up page.
I know a lot of folks who volunteered to "foster" dogs and now have a small pack's worth. Somehow I think the organizations involved don't mind too much. If he's a good fit, I would think seriously about hanging on to him. Doesn't mean you can't foster in the future, right?
In fact most of The Tudors cast really does it for me.
There seems to be a serious lack of said hot ladiez in this thread...so I'm putting my vote in for Natalie Dormer. I included a picture with JRM because quite frankly I'm not sure who I fantasize about more. Drool.
Better the bush than your car interior, eh?
