I have never posted  a comment before, but I wish I could reach through time and space and the internet and let you know that I see you and hold you in my heart.

Hell, Tulsi Gabbard is still on the stage. Is anybody honestly going to try to argue that she’s more prepared to be president than Buttigieg. I mean, I know that a segment of the far left adores her, but they’re the type that remind you that the spectrum from left to right is not a straight line, but one that bends to

But, what are your feelings on Tom Steyer.
*Ducks*

I’m sure it’s frustrating for her because she is one of the most effective legislators in the Senate currently, and by far the Senator who has done the most who is also running for President. To see a dude with minimal political experience (he got less than 9k votes in his mayoral race in a blue town) getting all the

Ok, boomer.

Fair take is a fair take. The central problem with Klobuchar isn’t inherently feminist or non-feminist, though it has deeply feminist implications.

We should separate them from their children, too, just to be sure. Also, who wouldn’t get behind a movement to have fewer kids on planes?

I cared for my husband through almost five years of staving off stage four cancer. He died in my arms weighing less than ninety pounds and repeating “help me oh please help me” until everything but his heart and breathing shut down. I tell everyone that his last word was SHIT! because I can’t bear to tell them the

I’m generally in favor of arresting anyone who has a higher boarding priority than me.

Look, IF they are innocent, the system will exonerate them.

At least until we know what the hell’s going on.

There is no sentencing bad enough for Rudy Giuliani. In addition to his myriad offenses during the Trump administration, he also acted as a “political consultant” to help Purdue Pharma avoid both restrictions on and liability for their marketing of OxyContin in the early aughts. May he rot under the jail.

“They were stopped by officers as they were boarding along with other first-class passengers.”

I mean, this is all true. That said ...

I’m just here to be off-topic and report a murder.

Agreed. Plus, him dying would make him some kind of crazy, right-wing martyr for eternity.

One of the quickest ways to get me to abandon a TV show is have it rely on sex scenes that do nothing to drive the narrative forward. It’s lazy writing and cheap titillation, often at the expense of young actresses who lack the power to resist larger institutions like studios and networks. I’ll let a show get away

i love HBO but there was no need for any of it. there was no need for that sex scene in the 1st episode of Watchmen either. Showtime series usually lose me after a couple episodes because they can never seem to get away from it and it only hurts the flow of the story.

Also important: Felicity Huffman’s apology actually apologized to the people she hurt, and she admitted guilt in it. No “sorry if I caused hurt” or trying to explain her rationale. She said she knew what she did was wrong and caused hurt.

I predict that she and her husband use a very small percentage of their money (a massive amount to us peasants) to keep stonewalling and wind up doing no prison time at all. Not even the measly 11 days that Huffman did. It also wouldn’t surprise me very much if her career rebounds. Her target (pardon the pun) demo is
