That is his chibi-form for comic relief-parts and it wasn’t that common at the beginning of the series but slowly became more common form. Nowadays Puck seems to almost always be in that form.

In splatoon the non-ranked game takes 3 minutes and ranked 5 minutes. Matchmaking is also pretty fast.

Just in case my links don’t work for some reason: Miitomo launch area and My Nintendo launch area.
Just to be clear, pre-registration with Nintendo ID is only going to work in countries which are part of the Miitomo launch area. The rest of us have to wait until My Nintendo launch date in March.
I’m also from Finland. This pre-registration should only be open in countries that are gonna have Miitomo at launch. We should get ability to link Nintendo ID during March.
My own database search gives me same results. This game is pretty much softcore in the best/worst case.
