Haha…FWIW the article did mention Alex Bornstein, who is a mutual friend of both actresses, put them in touch.

So here is where we disagree. You just portrayed Tilda e-mailing Cho as her wanting an education to learn about the issue. I read their e-mail conversation as Tilda wanting to give her side, in private, to Cho on why Dr. Strange made the casting decisions it did. If you read the e-mails closely, Tilda always stays

I don't really agree that Tilda was clueless here…she explains that the movie changed multiple characters and that they thought casting an Asian person in the role would be seen as accentuating a stereotype.

I kind of feel like there is a major difference between characters like Black Panther who is defined by their African heritages and someone like Luke Cage who was created to physically represent the challenges black people have experienced in America. I really wouldn't group those characters together at all personally.

Jesus…intentional misrepresentation IS lying. If you can't read those e-mails and then her comments on the podcast and see misrepresentation, it is because you yourself are biased.

Is your overall point that you agree with what Cho did then? Because no matter how frustrated she might have been, she never actually conveyed that in her e-mails with Swinton. And no matter what she thought of Swinton, she clearly misrepresents their conversation on that podcast.

It isn't at all odd for Swinton to reach out to someone who has been outspoken on her casting in particular.

I suggest people actually read all of the e-mails and then what Cho said was said. It is fucking ridiculous how much she misrepresents Tilda.

No one is telling you that you can't enjoy those movies. Unless by letting you enjoy those movies, you mean the rest of us have to pretend we also thought they weren't complete shit.

Yea I get why they do it but when there is no real payoff it just seems like they're stalling on advancing the plot.

My god…I didn't realize that was Huss. You just blew my mind.

So now we have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO Now, PS Vue, YouTube Red, Yahoo, and Facebook all offering streaming services.

I kind of disagree. HIMYM had a lot of good episodes and a few years from now the finale sucking will matter less as people discovering the show in syndication or on streaming won't have to wait nine years to find out who the mother is.

They did make sequels to Growing Pains in movie form.

I don't know if I liked Deadshot less than Joker or Enchantress but agree on Will Smith just playing Will Smith. It's part of the reason I never understand people who say SS had great characters.

Fair enough…I think it's a bit of poor writing then given the director says in that interview that his recovery alone takes 3-6 months. Would have been better if they spent more time thinking about it and started it two years before or something so he spent a believable amount of time training.

I'll believe you on the award but I will comment that awards are often given out early in the year for work done in the previous year. Meaning the 2016 Surgeon of the Year award could have been awarded for Strange's work in 2015.

I thought they already confirmed that this movie wouldn't have an origin and would pick up after Civil War.

Is anyone really surprised by this? We already know and love the interpretation of Spidey by Tom Holland, the movie cast two heavy-hitters in Keaton and RDJ, and the trailer generally looked great (at least to me). This is going to make money on the good press and hype alone and thus a sequel was always going to

I mean Dr. Strange kind of set the blueprint for that as his origin takes place about a year before present day.
