What does that have to do with his comment? You understand he posted about seeing the trailer for The Martian while seeing Jurassic World and thought the former would be a fine movie - right?

You can if the event in question has a reasonable chance of happening in the movie. I never expected anyone to die in The Martian (especially not Damon) but I could have seen a crewmember biting it trying to rescue him.

It's a fictional story…what's impressive is the author of the book did as much research as possible to make the science work where he could. But at the end of the day, it's still a fictional story.

He is an Inhuman who decided after the Terrigin Mists were released to the widespread population, he would hunt every new Inhuman down and deem whether they were worthy of their powers or not.

No they announced him as Lash before the season.

It's funny because if they had provided a ton of exposition the complaint would have been on the other side - that they spent too much time detailing what happened between seasons in unnatural conversations…

I'm surprised so many people think Lash looked bad - for a TV show he looked pretty good IMO.

Still upsets me that FNL never got Charles to return for a cameo in the last season when just about everyone else showed up.

Nope has been done for a while.

What specifically are you talking about? I love brewing beer - me opening up a brewery isn't tied up in shit. Is your issue that your first drunken college idea was already done and now you gave up?

Anyone criticizing Cuban should understand Shark Tank would not be the show it is without him. In S1-S2 ABC made businesses sign over 5% of their company or a royalty just to appear on the show, Cuban made them retroactively get rid of that clause before agreeing to be on the show permanently.

Maybe they're going to roll it out so the user can choose whether to include a Like, Dislike, or both buttons? That seems like it would fix the issue of people liking bad news and disliking good news.

I can't wait for the new season of Venture Bros. I would wager it is the most underappreciated show on TV right now - mostly due to the release schedule for episodes.

I doubt that is fully true - I believe the theory that whoever died on the show and is still alive in the books is likely to die in book 6 as well.

The last season of Game of Thrones got in front of the books so I'm sure the next one will too.

Here's a fun drinking game for all BTTF fans - drink everytime one of the main characters says the other's name ("Doc" or "Marty"). There are other rules too but you really don't need them.

Why don't you do the fucking math and post it here so I can see what fucking numbers you are using instead of being such a fucking asshole. When did I say Paramount was "throwing a party"? I just said they didn't consider it a "fuck up" as you said in your OP. Are those the only two feelings a studio can have? Is it

What about my points is not true? Your first point said the movies didn't make money for the studio. That is false based on my research. Your second point was that the studio considered it a failure. My counter, a valid one, is that studios don't often greenlight sequels for failures just because they make a little

In Disney's hands it is worth way more than the 4.06B valuation they paid for it - yes. In Lucas's hands…not so much.

If the Paramount board thought it was that big of a failure, they would have rebooted the franchise or shut it down - not ordered a third movie with the same cast while still allowing to Abrams to produce even as he backed out of directing to take on SW.
