If you like churches, don’t forget about St. Nick’s in Millvale:

As others have pointed out, be sure to take one of the inclines to get there.

There’s the city’s last remaining wooden street:

You are probably right about Brady-as-player. I think the issue here is that King (among others) treats Brady as some sort of wizened sage.

This was a thing in my house growing up, too. If I recall, plain tortillas chips were hard to come by, and my parents certainly won’t going to use Doritos in there. Instead, it was saltines and butter.

I wonder what Porte’s form will be in the summer? He’s been given the reins at BMC during Le Tour. I do, however, suspect, he is getting better training miles than a few of his rivals, given the poor weather they’ve been suffering at the usual pre-season training camps.

I’ve been riding and racing in the area for 20+ years, and there are few riders who really span the various cycling sub-cultures (racers, messengers, commuters, rando-types, weekend warriors) like Danny.

I miss Oscar Freire.

Nice still image.

I can’t disagree with this.

Inside Out! I was crying in the parking lot after the movie.

I highly recommend some sort of dynamic warm-up routine, like this one. It’ll take less time for you to actually feel warm once you are running, and the exercises have an added bonus of making you stronger, which will help prevent injury. Yeah, it adds 10 minutes to your workout, but think of it as putting money in
