I didn’t know that! Thanks!
Frankly, it didn’t even occur to me to think about the type of gun used in this situation and whether it would be appropriate. So, for at least myself, thanks!
It really isn’t the same at all man. People can bring up New Orleans all they want, but the fact is natives have been calling that out for decades but nobody listens. People who dress up for the parades are wearing traditional religious items without understanding what meanings they have. I’m a combat vet, and I’d be…
Counterpoint-No. This is an insane amount of objectification. For contrast, since we’re comparing it to Bond, here’s the Casino Royale trailer. One second of Bond in a bathing suit on a beach. Two seconds of him kissing a woman on a beach.
I’m sorry, did I stumble into Generic Badgirl Male Fantasy #3: The Movie?
Well of course you’re right, but why approach people on your own team who are trying to help with cynicism, sarcasm, and alienation, simply because they are white?
I don’t think pushing them aside is the answer either- but neither is mocking and condescension, such as in the article.
“Call them out” to satisfy your ego. But when they feel less than enthused to join in your causes that they normally agree with, don’t be shocked or “call them out”.
This is exactly why we are where we are. Progressives (and I consider myself one of them) have developed an ‘all or nothing’ view of the world. If a person does not agree with or support EVERY single one of our ideologies simultaneously then we don’t want them.
