I hate piracy. I mean, I'm really seriously opposed to it; I make my living selling creative work and piracy literally takes money out of my hands.

That sounds awesome! I'll have to check it out, thanks!

The abdicated king of England thought he was a great guy all around, in fact.

Completely agree. Rhythm is important. Sentences that are technically correct can still feel incorrect if that's off. I've STETed more than one sentence because the "correction" leaves the sentence feeling wonky.

A copyeditor once made a sarcastic comment the second time I used a particular word. The second time in a 103k word novel.

Your teacher should be fired. Please forget everything that moron told you.

Sorry, do you have any actual proof of that?

Hey, man. Action is YOUR reward, but that doesn't mean the rest of us can get by on it.

My favorite parts of the first two movies were when he took his shirt off, but those bits you mentioned were pretty good, too. :-)

He was great on SNL.

HA!

Ha, that book is on my to-read list anyway, so cool, thanks!

I'm always good, baby!

Jackson was a serious badass.

Bah! Saw WhaleBiologist's comment making the same joke immediately after posting mine. Sorry.

I wish that was sarcasm… smh.

I literally fell off the couch at their parody of the song from Pod People, I was laughing so hard.

And yet they're not analyzing whether or not there's data to prove that laughter is the best medicine. Fail.

Oh my God! I cannot WAIT for the article on Garfield's assassination! John Charles Giteau is my favorite assassin ever.

I just posted that above (hadn't seen your comment, obvs., sorry)! The refrain totally reminded me of "At the Ballet," too, and given that the song is about escaping ugly reality and entering a world where they are pretty and loved, I wondered if it was deliberate.
