Yeah, I'd forgotten that she sent Brienne to Riverrun.

But a king and queen DO have a responsibility to the realm to procreate; the people shouldn't have to worry about facing a civil war when the King dies.

But Cersei's motives are only ever selfish. The motives of the others you mention are not, or at least they aren't in the same way.

I had that thought, too. And if anyone would happily choke Cersei to death with his bare hands, it would be the Hound.

Who else could Sansa be writing to? Maybe her uncle the Blackfish, with whom Littlefinger specifically suggested she get in touch?

But Stannis did have king's blood; his brother was king, and brothers have the same blood. The person with the blood doesn't have to be king himself—if that were the case, then Gendry would be king now.

He's got an angry inch.

Okay, I have to give you that one. :-)

GRRM is a lovely man. He's sweet, he's funny, he's kind.

A months-later note of interest:

Hey, follow-up on this. Tonight the "True Entertainment" Channel here in the UK is showing something called "The O.J. Simpson Story," which I guess is a TV movie made not long after the verdict. It's a bizarre combination of real news/courtroom footage at the time plus acting and dramatizations.

Gustin is adorable; we love the Flash in our house. Fun for the whole family. (My 14-y-o daughter has a huge crush on Gustin. I cannot blame her.)

Our whole family cheered when Perd showed up again.

Kare-Bare.

I believe it's supposed to be a pun; since "worlds" is the plural of "world," and this is the ep where the Catco gang discovers there ARE multiple worlds. But, you know, it sounds like "World's," which is a cliche…

Yeah, I didn't get that line in the review, either. That was pretty important info there, not only how Siobhan ended up with powers but what she has to do in order to be normal again. It would be pretty difficult otherwise to understand why even someone who's fairly selfish and vengeful, like Siobhan, has moved from
