I’ve heard from essentially everyone whose even owned a regular E60, let alone an M5. But that just makes me respect the hell out of one that much more everytime I see one. I’ve always loved the E60, knowing there’s a F1 inspired V10 under the hood.
I purchased my car last summer, i’ve gotten 2 official looking evenlopes in the mail claiming i’m running out of time to be able to purchase “extended warranties” on my 2015. Besides a phone number, there’s no company name, not even really a clue as to where the letters came from.
I’m glad he made this video, even though I haven’t and will not watch it, as I couldn’t take more than 30 seconds of the guy in another video.
At the end of the day, i’d go BMW if money wasn’t a factor whatsoever.
It’s hilarious. They literally make GSW R’s and Passat wagons - just not for the U.S..
Neither of my parents are actually car people, let alone “enthusiasts”.
I’d comfortably say that this ride provided tons of extremely valuable lessons for when you’re behind the wheel for the young kid.
Ugh, 1000x this. They act like going from Manhattan to Long Island was an issue, once you get into Queens on a highway you’re pretty much straight. Brooklyn? No where else in NYC is traffic as bad, or the streets as dimpled like a teenage boy’s face. I’m including Manhattan, minus the traffic at bridges..
Oh no doubt there are way more pant arousing cars out there, it’s just that literally the only experience I have driving cars has been all FWD slowpokes. 98 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 08 Hyundai Santa Fe, 10 Malibu, and now my 15 GTI. I can only imagine what a big powerful engine with a bunch of plastic and metal bits…
I agree, to an extent. Brick the car as in virtual-boot-on-wheel type stuff? Probably not. But like VW cars and ECU tunes - the whole car can be completely stock except for software and boom, your warranty is gone.
I’m Stage 1 and DSG with the same LSD they’re probably using here. I’m not attacking courses here but i’d say the feeling of hopping into and driving my car is absolutely intoxicating, especially after driving my dad’s ole Santa Fe lol.
I’m mostly joking of course, but it’d be a lot easier for actual drunk driving to be getting away with being drunk behind the wheel simply because they’re not controlling it and showing signs of better driving habbits than the current average person can posses.
My way of attacking corners has been slow down before the bend, accelerate through it. Easy stuff in my GTI.
The fact that these cars will be autonomos might be good for the driver. Imagine being more drunk than the people you’re supposed to be picking up, but it doesn’t matter since the service can still be completed! Can’t wait for “Not Driving Under Influence” becomes a thing.
And people have the audacity to say the Porsche 911s and even the damn bug itself has never had a design update.
It’s funny when I see it happen to others, but then I’m reminded by the fact that the people down the block have been known to be the rim jackers, have been getting away with it for a while (cops alerted, searches done), and have been staring down at my alloys everytime I see them while driving down the block. Luckily…
Screw the Mini, give me that cake!
Yeah, i’ve been using TWC for about a decade and a half now, and while the only other option is using DSL that only works perfectly on a full moon, TWC has been extremely solid. Internet rarely goes out and recent free speed bumps have been very appreciated. Dare I say TV picture has also increased in quality, in very…
In my decent not-ghetto hood, they’ve been even jacking the rims off the new Corollas!
