I meant for letting his calls go to vm, obviously.

Of course I know that. I don’t know why we are arguing about this.

My main point is that these sorts of suits are expensive. A victim can bring suit against a company and even though the company did everything right, the cost of defense is very high. So, that’s why I had said that much of the value in purchasing these

I may have mistaken your comment, then. Because I thought you were saying that if you raise them right then they won’t act like that (“rude little pigs,” to use Alec’s words). But they do sometimes. They totally do, even if you are “raising them right” (whatever that means). The difference between good parents and bad

No, sorry. Sometimes they act that way because they are CHILDREN. Jesus.

Like Alec is, or ever was, a paragon in how to treat women. Please.

I’m sorry; do you know me at all? No. So you don’t know what I do and do not know nor can you assume such from a few offhanded comments on the internet.

Thanks for being affirming and I haven’t taken the time to read all the responses to this article but I hoped I wouldn’t be the only one.

I realize people think badly of insurance companies (and lawyers, unless they’ve hired one for themselves!) but we’re really not out to make a quick buck. We take on risk so that

Yeah, I alternately do and do not want to see the actuarial reports on that coverage.

I agree with you but I also agree with having these insurance policies. (OK, OK, it’s apparent I work in insurance - I’m not a salesperson, though.) Anyway, when you buy these policies the value is in the defense costs vs. the actual liability limit.

Also, most of the companies that buy these policies and have claims

This is a policy that is decades old. Companies buy it to protect their financial interests. It isn’t a new form that magically appeared. Insurance doesn’t (always) work like that.

Well, I mean, this is just proper risk management. I don’t know why people are a) shocked; or b) think companies shouldn’t have this coverage.

I can’t control my employees. I can advise them not to behave in certain ways. I can publish an employee handbook that says sexual harassment (or ANY harassment) is against

Then you tell the server before people start to order (even beverages).

Dude. Hate the game, not the playa. And tip 20%.

That’s why cash is best for tips. ;)

I will tip on the regular price vs. happy hour discount IF the restaurant makes it known wtf the regular price is. Some are better than others.

Yeah, my boobs are pretty large as well and they’re full on mom boobs that look like deflated balloons. I get sad about it until I remember that I’m middle aged and they’re supposed to look that way.

I am HR at my office. If someone came to me to complain about someone else being barefoot I would have to legit suppress my laughter because why in the fuck does that other person care so much?! Bare feet are actually no dirtier than shoes. If there was not a policy against it in the handbook AND only one person

I just looked online and can’t find anything. Good luck to you in your search. My daughter is on the edge of whether she’d love this or not (she’ll be 12 in a couple of weeks). My take is if I see this in a physical store I’m jumping on it. Perhaps literally.

*checks date*
DID HE REALLY JUST CALL ELIZABETH WARREN “POCAHONTAS”?!
I mean, I’m assuming that’s who he’s referring to. Right?
FUCK THAT GUY. I cannot stand him. The name calling bothers me so much I don’t even stoop to the level others do by calling him names even though he deserves it so much more.

If I ever compared my partner to my brother I would nope out of that relationship so quickly the other person wouldn’t know wtf just happened.
