Because “flexing monopolistic powers” in some hypothetical market means nothing about current benefits of the deal for consumers.
So? Blocking this deal does nothing to improve competition and actively reduces it based on some hypothetical far future scenario of cloud gaming.
How is this protecting the consumer in anyway? I lose out on better prices with Activision games in Gamepass because of some far future concern about potential price increases or lack of competition in cloud gaming?
