A lot of these comments are atrocious. Some seem gleeful? I know Kanye isn’t perfect but damn.

That’s not really true. I have personally witnessed a family member who refused a 5150, despite all evidence to the contrary, and wound up in the law enforcement version of Hefty ties.

I understand. Im happy my family didn’t give up on me. I didn’t hurt anyone or break laws.

Wow. I’m surprised with some of the comments here. No. Not surprised. Disappointed. If we made fun of someone with downs sydrome or Parkinson’s there would be hell to pay.

Also, let me correct myself from an earlier post, the anniversary of his mother’s death was November 10, not yesterday.

Wow. Compassion much?

It is always sad when someone is hospitalized — in restraints — with mental illness. Always. Kanye West, for all his gritty-teeth moments, is no exception. I feel surprisingly bad for him.

Here’s what’s going on, in Kanye’s own words / Kanye’s own art (it’s an outtake from the Life of Pablo):

No snark here. I really hope he gets the help that he very much needs.

Get well soon Ye.

I know people are going to make lots of snarky comments but I’ve read in a few threads that he’s bipolar. As somebody who is bipolar, I hope he gets the help he needs. He seems to really need it right now.

Well well, Kanye and I have something in common. I’m also being admitted to hospital this afternoon for my own ‘health and safety’. I have a feeling he will be getting a nicer room and better food than me.

I was discussing this at work today and indicated a few times that I’m convinced he’s got some kind of mental illness. Yes, he’s an egomanic, but there has obviously been something much more serious going on in the background for years now, possibly either triggered or made worse by his Mother’s sudden death, and I’m

With all my intuitive, witchy powers I tell you I have long believed Kanye to be bipolar. Love him, feel for him, he’s a blowhard but brilliant. Let’s try a little compassion- when it comes to mental illness, celebs are really just like us- except sometimes the fishbowl exacerbates the delusions and makes it harder

Prayers up for Yeezy.

No one’s done This Land Is Your Land better

If I could wake up one morning and sing like Sharon Jones, I could die happy.

She’s so amazing. I was lucky enough to see her in Austin a couple years ago. One of the best and most memorable performances of my life. She will be missed.
