If you are doing 100-130mph on a US highway that seems like user error. Is this the same guy who had to use Google to figure out his Tesla doesn’t take gas?

Right on, my parents had a short ‘86 model and a longer ‘88 with a V6. Both were adequate but cheap. It’s gotta be nostalgia if you are shelling out $2500 for a van with faded paint, well worn interior and a tired engine. No thanks.

TJ Maxx? Look at uncle pennybags over here. What a hefty force flex bag not good enough for you?

They sell very few of these at very high prices. If explorers or highlanders got single digit mileage I could see you getting upset.

Plastic used in internal engine parts ARRGGGHH! Always sucks.

I had the most fun with my ‘89 Sterling with a Honda 2.7 V6 (161 hp) or my ‘95 4.0 Jeep Cherokee 5-speed (190 hp). There is such a thing as overpowered, but to each their own.

Clarkson agrees, all Camaro drivers are criminals.

Nah, that’s covered by trucks with 44s, a 6 inch lift and a Carolina squat trolling Wal-Mart parking lots.

A star for puce.

David nailed it, Grand Durango.

I remember when this was a thing in the 90's, blacking out your headlights so you can.... look like your alternator is failing? didn’t get it then, don’t get it now.

I prefer Paul F. Tompkins idea of people seeing Fabio.

A lot of nuances here. Did a customer or coworker ever complain about not receiving a response? Even with screening I still receive a lot of junk and sales emails an I’m also on several email lists that have nothing to do with my department that I have asked to be removed from several times. A bunch of noise.

High powered elephant investments helped to keep Ford solvent in the late 2000s.

This, all Jags ride smooth, not just the V12. The XJR will blow the doors off any XJ12 and get better gas mileage. The XJR was no fuel sipper but the V12 was chugging like a 60's car. If you just want to be different and love frustrating repairs get an XJ12.

As the owner of a 1999 XJR I highly recommend it, get ‘em while they are cheap. The X300 and x308 were worlds better than the XJ40 with improvements in body rigidity, rustproofing and electronics. 1996 and above is recommended for OBD II. I prefer the V8 x308s and run two as daily drivers after correcting known issues

Yup, lazy journalism, post someone else’s video.

Exactly, most service manuals say to disconnect the battery for the simplest tasks. Yes the owner was dishonest or maybe they were just clueless about cars. However half the blame goes on the shop for allowing sloppy safety procedures and the two in this video seem focused on completely blaming the customer. Diesel,

Man, how dare the customer make them drop gas on electrical terminal that should have been disconnected.

I’m skeptical about this “expert”. He knows a lot about the numbers but not much about cars. The 90's were not a time of short lived cars, perhaps he is thinking about the 70's or 80's. The 90's jeep 4.0 will run forever any GM car with a 3800 V6 will run forever. Ford was making the bulletproof 7.3 diesel and their
