Absolutely. I watched it recently and it is just as heartwrenching and wonderful as the first time I saw it. Christine Lahti is astounding, as is River Phoenix. And you can never go wrong with Martha Plimpton.

Wait for the sequel, shot entirely in vertical video!

Now with more spiky rib thingies!

I wondered that as well! My fan wank is that they had some kind of “return safely” clause in that snap.

I am not a gamer, but I think the Skyrim one was the funniest. Really leaned into the absurdity.

I don’t necessarily agree that it was a letdown, but they did seem to just answer almost every single mystery all at once, so I can definitely see your point!

Wow, that was an incredible episode. I don’t really get many people’s complaints about the first three episodes being boring or sticking with the sitcom trope too much. I think they have just enough “off” about them to really heighten the suspense as to just what is happening. And I’m watching with a 9 year old who

I also don’t like marshmallows or anything marshmallow-adjacent (S’mores are terrible and nobody can convince me otherwise) but I love Rice Krispie treats. Maybe because I usually brown the butter a little bit, and throw in a goodly amount of salt? There’s something magical about them. These marshmallows look amazing,

I have never heard of this movie, but as a double bass player, it is always nice when a movie character plays my instrument (rather than everyone’s favorite, the cello). But you absolutely don’t need a hearse to drive one around. My first car was a Geo Metro.

When the LOTR movies started showing up in theatres, I was in my mid 20s and had been a fan of the books since I had first read them. Fellowship was a revelation to me. The magic of seeing these books onscreen was great, but Jackson’s reverence for the books, and his ability to carve out great cinema from them made me

Every time I see River Phoenix in anything it breaks my heart a little bit. He was so good.

I remember when this came out, and I was genuinely looking forward to it, because I really enjoy Seth Rogen as a romantic lead, and I love Charlize Theron in pretty much anything. When the critics were so against it, I was super disappointed, but watched it as soon as it hit the streaming services anyway. I loved it.

Agreed. That was such a fantastic reveal. I even let out a “Whoa!” when the cat legs hove in sight.

The scene above was the one my brother and I quoted endlessly, when she gets the guys in the bus to sit down. “Zip yer lips, slap your butts to the seats and listen hard!”

Or....not? What the heck is even happening? Well, I sincerely hope she recovers fully. This year has only just begun, and it is wild.

I’m not sure why, but I watched the shit out of Sheena when I was a kid, probably because it was on Cinemax or HBO all the time, but I really loved it. This is terribly sad. RIP.

Yep, me too.

I just binged the whole thing, and I totally see what you are saying. I mean, I enjoyed it immensely (so many beautiful men in waistcoats), but it really felt like something my 13 y.o. daughter would love, especially with her obsession with Hamilton, if not for the many, many, many sex scenes.

I really like this take! You have put into words exactly what makes Din Djarin so appealing.

I think this sounds freaking delicious. Is there something wrong with me?
