“Refund! REfund!” I love this movie. We used to watch it so much when I was a kid, and I recently showed it to my own kids and they loved it, as well. Much cheering during the final race. Paul Dooley totally deserved an Oscar nom.

This is a really cool thing that just seems incredibly overpriced for what it is. Over $400? I mean, maybe $100 and I’d consider it, because it does seem really neat, but that is highway robbery.

Season 3 of Daredevil was fantastic.

We always called him “John Mellen Cougar Camp” or “John Camp Cougar Mellen”.

And that’s Charlie Cox, aka Daredevil, which I only discovered when I rewatched this recently. Also, Henry Cavill is in this and is completely unrecognizable.

My argument is that things like aloofness and curiosity are definitely inborn and not built by your environment. Same with interests. I mean, your environment can influence what kinds of things you are exposed to, but people without an inborn inclination are not going to magically get one. My kids were all raised in

Joe ends up plummeting instead into The Great Before, where new souls are assigned personalities. You’d think that obsessions, along with traits like aloofness or curiosity, would form after birth. Soul asserts otherwise.”

There was a pretty long running cartoon series about Clifford, so it’s not like there are no plots to be had. But that shade of red is weird. I mean, make him red! It’s right there in the name! It look like they tried to make a more “natural” colour of red so that a minivan-sized dog will look more realistic.

This made me laugh, too! The first time I saw this news and how they weren’t sharing the location, I knew someone would find it pretty quickly.

These are utterly fascinating and entertaining! Love that this mom is sharing this with her son, who seems just as fascinated. (and to the bizarre complaints of “parents exploiting children!” and “parents forcing their children to follow in their footsteps!” you must have been watching different videos than I was.

Is that Hank Azaria in the police station scene??

I have two daughters, ages 13 and 9, and neither one of them was ever that fond of Frozen. We have, however, watched Tangled too many times to count (Moana and The Princess and the Frog coming in at close seconds). This movie is laugh-out-loud funny every single time I watch it, and the abusive parental relationship

I ask myself this,

That essay by Emily Ratajkowski was so shocking and maddening. I am completely unsurprised that this man has taken advantage of other young women, just as I am completely unsurprised that he has faced zero consequences. Hopefully some of this will actually stick, and he will face, at the very least, financial

My son, 15 years old and a computer geek extraordinaire, loves these movies and hates the sequels. I went along with his wish to watch them, last December, and we all sat around as a family and subjected ourselves to all three on subsequent nights. My son already knew all of the plot beats and many of the character

I really enjoy the way that reporter says “hwhale.” Hwhat not to do about a hwhale on the beach, indeed.

Well that trailer is delightful. I laughed out loud a couple of times. Melissa McCarthy is truly the queen of physical comedy. And I honestly don’t understand the James Corden hate. I enjoy him, but even if I didn’t, he seems extremely innocuous.

Is it just me, or are none of these lyrics that difficult to parse? I mean, I enjoy her straightforward explanations, but it must be frustrating to explain something that you can figure out from context. (And I have never heard a single song of hers so I have no skin in this game.)

The “American Cheese” you can get in Canada is terrible. Actual American cheese is very tasty and makes good grilled cheese and cheeseburgers. The individually wrapped Kraft slices are horrid.

I added it to a reply above! Enjoy!
