This is the correct take. We will all exit in order, you assholes. You have to wait, just like every other goddamn person in here.

Limitless, too! I’d watch any of these four over most of what’s currently on.
I’m actually still mad that Awake was cancelled. It was an amazing and amazingly weird show, and Jason Isaacs did a hell of a job.
Happy to see this! I am really enjoying Stumptown. Has a really interesting structure and aesthetic, not to mention a stellar cast.
I will never forget seeing a Golden Eagle at a local fair at a booth for a wildlife rescue society. It was just sitting on a perch, right out in the open, and when it turned its eyes on me, I felt like it looked all the way down into my soul. Gave off a definite feeling of “If I were larger, I would eat you”.
Yeah, I’m in the right age demo, I think, and I had never even heard of Hocus Pocus until a few years ago, and have still never seen it. Baffling is exactly the word.
Yeah, I’m at episode 12 in season 6, and the NTA are already insufferable. It gets worse?!? I will push through. I haven’t actually begun fast forwarding through the stupid stuff yet, like I did in season 4, so we’ll see how it goes.
I have been binging Arrow for the first time the past few weeks, so this is good timing. I just started season 6, and it is already feeling like a slog after the excellent season 5. I didn’t hate 3 as much as most, but 4 was a complete disaster. And after 5, if we never get another bad guy who taunts Oliver to kill…
Okay, replying to myself because I looked back at the list of episodes, and I think the turn toward a better Arrow happened at the robotic bee episode, which was tons of fun. I nearly gave up before then, and that episode convinced me to keep going.
Well I am binging Arrow three years after this review was written, but I just had to jump in. After nearly giving up on this season at the absolute nadir of that Vixen episode (seriously, that was the absolute worst. stupid character, terrible actress, ridiculous powers, goofy action scenes) I powered through, and…
The Hilda comics are SO GOOD. I read one while my daughter was at school and immediately went online and bought the ones I didn’t have yet.
The Wings of Fire graphic novels basically taught my 8 year old daughter to read. She was struggling last year (grade 2) and was bored with the easy readers they kept foisting on her. But her sister (age 12) has been reading the WoF novels for years, and had the first of the comics in her room. I offered it to the 8yo…
Wow, I think I am going to have to read this. Thanks for an interesting and in-depth review! I love alternate history and fantasy as genres, and this sounds like a really interesting mix of both.
I’m a US expat living in Canada, and I swear that those 1/2 Lune Moon cakes, the vanilla ones, are what I always wished Twinkies tasted like. And I love Twinkies. Some really underrated snack cakes up here!
I like Red Kuri squash/Hokkaido pumpkins for eating. Make wonderful soup.
Possibly! I’m from the midwest, and my mom knows someone who only eats tomato soup and white bread potato chip sandwiches. That’s it.
This story makes me so mad, since during my first pregnancy, the one where every fear is magnified beyond comprehension by well-meaning “advice” from everyone around you, I had such bad sciatic pain in my left hip that I couldn’t sleep on my left side without great pain. I wept in agony trying to go to sleep, bought a…
I’m so glad these are back! I love these columns, even though I do not watch football at all. I’m just a fan of great, funny writing. Those ads! Oh the horror.
As a tall girl, I can verify that height definitely keeps boys away when you are in High School. I didn’t have a boyfriend until my third year of college. Now, I wasn’t a supermodel or anything, but boys don’t like girls that tower over them, or wear bigger shoes than they do. Also, I’m 6 feet, and I’m still taller…
Yeah, but about Lord of the Flies, they’re not wrong.
