I didn't even know he was an actor at all, when I saw him in the Wiz Live, and thought, "Oh, look, Common looks so uncomfortable! He can't act, poor guy." And now he has a TV show.

House on the Rock is so completely and utterly insane, it makes that Alligator bar look like NBD. Now, it has been more than twenty years since I was there, but unless they sold off the calliopes and the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse that hung from the ceiling, I would say they should just try to film in the actual…
I just watched the Good Dinosaur with my 5 year old last night, and it is almost unrelentingly odd. I mean, strange beyond belief. The beginning is soooo sloooooooow, and I seriously thought I was going to have to turn it off, due to extreme disinterest, not to mention the ridiculously treacly dialogue. But then the…
My kids can't read my embarrassing college diaries! That's, um, bad? Good? I really don't know.
Ugh, that's crappy.
Dammit all to heck! This was a great show, and I am so pissed they won't get another season. What the hell, Netflix? This should be right up your alley. Farewell, Mike and Ike. We hardly knew ye.
Just re-watched it last night, love that movie. The chase scene in Morocco is freaking fantastic, but my 5-year-old is partial to the sleeping sailors sliding around in their bunks.
This was great! I had my own "Aha!" moment about how important, and difficult, editing is while watching the Lord of the Rings special features. There is a section where they show a multi-split screen of some of the different footage from the Council of Elrond scene, and as each camera's footage is used, it is…
I only didn't mention him (and indeed, he looked great) because I didn't know who the character was. Who hasn't seen Civil War yet? This lady.
Slut Bum Walla?
I legitimately laughed out loud as Thor and his mighty hammer "leaped" over that obstacle. Captain America fares better, since he gets something to jump off of. And yeah, Kringlebert Fishtibuns looks like he sprained a cheekbone on that jump. Ah, well. At least I am not a young thing, disappointed to see that Orlando…
Beginning of Up, obvs.
If that Wall-E scene is the one I think it is, with Wall-E and Eve flying around outside the Axiom with that gorgeous score accompanying their completely joyous flight, I am so with you. I tear up every time. Also at the end, when that wonderful credits sequence ends on the boot with the plant in it. Streaming tears.
I remember watching this one, the auction footage is incredible. I mean, she paid $25 dollars at a garage sale, and made half a million on it?? Insane.
Yep. My favorite scene in any movie ever.
That would be the slowest, fluffiest fight in all of history.
Boy, you ain't kiddin'.
I think it's very brave.
"Dive, Dive!" said the captain through the thing. So a man pressed a button, or something, and it dove.
"Looks like we foiled them again!" said Dave.
"Yeeees," said the captain, "we foiled those bastards again! Didn't we, Dave?"
"Yeeees," said Dave.
The. End.
