I bought a $50 Nokia when I went to Iraq and bought a new SIM for the best carrier in each city I worked in.

@cohaagen: ooh, I don't envy your VAT. It's been discussed here and I want no part of it.

I heard a great quote yesterday: If you're not paying for it, you're not a customer; you're the product being sold.

Speaking of hosts: who's got a favorite and why? I've got a handful of domains with GoDaddy...like the price but hate the website. Pleasant alternatives?

@DoogieFullHouser: For a company selling to web hosts, every time I log in I'm reminded of what I should not do to my website. Awful design.

Cool. Then the devs can publish their EULAs and have them available at the point of sale....not when I take the software home, put it in the computer to install it. Too late to return it then.

@Agentmage2012: Yeah, but when these guys target people on BitTorrent for filesharing, they're not busting them for "stealing". They're being busted for distribution of copyrighted material without consent from the copyright holder. Or at least this is what the court documents usually claim...

I've been fortunate enough lately that I have had an incredibly light work schedule.

Looks like this will be a niche for discount airlines, but there will have to be availability for fully staffed flights. Needless to say: these idiots can't keep charging an arm and a leg for flights when fuel is relatively cheap, one pilot, small seats, no snacks/meals... That just can't keep up.

Nothing worse than politicians and fake-celebrities making the headlines on my websites of choice.

@skylights: Not every case the ACLU gets behind is going to be something that everyone supports.

@xredgambit: not sure if it'll work with HTC widgets, but I know for sure that Beautiful Widgets will. Super customizable.

@ExtraDas: Not a theme, just a LauncherPro dock image.

xda-developers forums has quite a few other launchers being discussed, tested and updated frequently. Forums, Android Apps & Games. If you love your Android phone and don't visit that site, you're crazy.

The iPod will remain relevant as long as people don't care to bring extra juice wherever they go. Solar panels, car chargers, wall chargers, external batteries, JuicePacks...All these things we use to keep the power coming.

@Google: Privacy is Job 1: You're not kidding. I was furious when Apple announced the iPhone 4's 512 MB of RAM and retina display. I felt so cheated.
