Holy crap! My first CotD and I didn't even know about it 'til the next day!! Well, that's what 12hrs sleep in an 84hrs span gets you....and a goodly portion of that missed sleep was due to me staying up/getting up to watch the Brazilian F1 coverage and gather up a passel of quotes for all y'all. It was all worth it…
I was wondering if anybody was going to mention that. Hopping his way off to Australia 2012 no doubt.
Thanks Peter for a great season of F1 Crayola coverage!
It could be worse.... [news.bbc.co.uk]
I loved that! Bernie is great for the quick quip quote.
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of Lufthansa I'd like to be the first to welcome you to Calgary today. I'd also like to apologize for the rough landing and assure it wasn't the pilot's fault or the plane's fault. It was the asphalt. Thank you and have a good day."

Ouch!
I figured it'd be something like that. I was going to say that I thought they made the bodies of aluminum, then I read the "Strength" specs here:
Google. Where do you get yours? They seem a bit high even if you only consider the weight limits of the roads they will travel on. I tried to base my figures on a 60 seat bus. The Blue Bird bus company shows their *largest* C-type bus as being 31,000 GVWR. Minus your load figure of 15,000 drops the empty weight…
Are you nuts?!! This is one of my top-5 best movies ever!!! It's right up there with Repo Man and Time Bandits. Try drinking a beer first next time. Several, in fact.
Of course, back then only the top six positions scored points. It would've been 8 times in the points using today's scoring. In fact, it only finished 9 races so it wasn't such a bad performer...when it finished. Compare that to the current teams...even though most cars finish the races nowadays teams such as…
