I understand it's an amateur video and all that, but some of these people need to learn a little about what makes a good video...or they need to be slapped.

By an amazing coincidence, late 80's was when I was in college :) We even rigged one with a 12v PS under the desk and a cord so you could use the power lumbar and heat.

That seems to be a bit of over-engineering. In college we made a bunch of desk chairs from Saab 900 seats. We took some of those clunky old military-grade swivel chairs, took off the seats, and replaced them with the Saab seats using aluminum angle stock and Tek screws. Damn comfy.

I've yet to find a (free) proxy that stays alive long enough to watch anything. I gave it another good go this summer while I was trying to see "Murray Walker's TT Memories" on ITV.

Unfortunately, I have no other option. And I know exactly what you mean too...my early days of watching F1 were with Murray Walker and James Hunt on the BBC feed I'd watch on cross-border Canadian stations.
