@Oppo All Day: Ah yes, manuals. They are not there for your inconvenience. Unfortunately he only read as far as "do not reuse removed screws." Really a mistake of having too much experience. Now he's learned the lessons "don't trust your fellow mechanic!" and that the "F" in RTFM also stands for "FULL."

And all this happened because some asshat used the wrong screws in the window frame. But you can't totally blame the A&P mechanic that did it, he just re-installed the same size screws he'd just taken out. It was the jackass who did the job the previous time that used the wrong screws.

Why the Pinto didn't suck?

@The Guacanator: Holy crap! That was from the first "Simpsons" episode I ever saw...about 20 years ago! I didn't get the joke at first because I didn't even know the father's name was Homer :)

@badasscat: That's what I was thinking. Compass Call as an electronic warfare ship "uses noise jamming to prevent communication." It's there to throw a blanket over their entire comm network. So yeah, your definition seems about right :)

@mnfthyr: The essential Hermann Tilke track.

@ncasolo: KERS pissed me off with the arbitrary 8 second limit. It was barely useful and now they've lowered it to 6 seconds! WTF?

This reminds me of when I used to go to the races at Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine. Some drivers from the lower classes would use their log trucks to haul their cars and use the grapple to load/unload the car by grabbing it by the roof/roll cage.

@LandofMinos: Si. I was going to put my Ferrari FF logo in the window to go with the "Fist" **evil grin**

@Ignore this comment: Just to put things in perspective, start&park for the Daytona 500 was about $236,000!

Thaaat's better.

Billboard paid for by AAA.

@Jeb_Hoge: I got bagged in VA for having a radar detector about 10 yrs ago. Suck bit was, I knew the cop was there (heard it on the CB) but I didn't know they were illegal! "There was a sign when you entered the state." Yeah, well when I entered the state it was during rush hour and the state borders go by

@Prismatist steers with his right foot: I had a cop friend in Ohio that was in uniform in a marked police cruiser with another officer and transporting a prisoner. They went 28 in a 25 through some tiny town in Ohio and got dragged into traffic court! That's why when I drive cross-country I fuel up in PA and don't

@Xander Crews: I thought they were already tired of F1:
