I was weirded out by Wilde equating her pregnancy with disability in this tweet. I never want to be pregnant because ugh, but that feels like much too much for me.

yes this is exactly what I thought when I read that tweet. to be perfectly honest, I don’t feel like any regular pregnant person should feel so upset at not getting just offered seats as a norm. I wouldn’t. maybe I’m a bad person, I don’t know. I just feel like pregnancy is (hopefully) something you CHOOSE to do so…

If she is that pregnant, why doesn’t she just take a cab? She can afford it.

Do you think you are entitled to a seat just for carrying a child? People should get up, but don’t expect people to ever do things for you.

Not sure I like the idea of giving seats to pregnant women any more than I like expectant-mother parking spaces. Ladies are strong enough to not need such coddling.
