From what I understand, the sender knew that Eichenwald had epilepsy and sent the GIF purposely in order to cause a seizure. I don’t think it takes that long for certain images to induce reactions, so he probably only looked at it for a second or two before seizing.

This is the guy who broke about a third of the damning stories against Trump and continues to do so so, of course, the FBI has him on their radar. Eichenwald doesn’t deserve to be some clickbait.
