Agreed. She knows that the country is now in the hands of someone who does not give a single fuck about its people, particularly its vulnerable people. At all. And I think she, like her husband (*sob*), actively cares about this country and its people, particularly its vulnerable people.

A national tragedy. In a better world, Michelle would be showing Bill where she hid mini fridges in the WH full of Bud Light.

Don’t forget about San Antonio! We’ll bring the breakfast tacos and Pop!!

We hate your state, too.

I fucking hate my state so damn much in moments like this.

You want to lose millions in revenue too, Texas, and embarrass your entire populace in one fell swoop?

Yeah cause it’s worked out SO WELL for NC’s governor, not to mention the state economy itself.

I’m so sorry you have to be scared  :(

Meanwhile I’m insured through Obamacare and pregnant and terrified. Thanks a lot, assholes.

Yep. I’m a Wisconsinite, and the thing I keep reminding whoever will listen is that we cannot underestimate the effect that the Republicans’ vote ID laws and other voter suppression tactics had on the election. Thousands of people were denied the right to vote in blue stronghold wards.

I feel as if everyone who considers themselves to be progressive but either didn’t vote, voted 3rd party, or wrote in someone, needs to volunteer their time and money for the next four years to help all those people who will be disenfranchised under a Trump presidency. They must pay for and drive women across state

Besides the assault itself, WHAT is with them streaming it over Facebook Live?! You have to know that means you’ll be caught.

Good. They damn well deserve to be charged with hate crimes. Maybe in the future, right-wing internet commenters will actually wait at the very least 24 hours before screaming about how the police are biased against white people. Not wasting my breath, though.

This was absolutely horrific and I’m glad they are being charged.

Ikr? I kept listing the reasons that voting for Hillary Clinton was important. It included reproductive rights, 20 million people who will lose their healthcare (including me and I have a life threatening pre existing condition), and the supreme court.

And I am *still* having to argue with people on this site about Clinton and her apparent...conceit? Arrogance? As the pillars of progressive reform are toppling down one by one, these people aren’t blaming the people actually doing the damage. They aren’t blaming the voters who can’t see past the end of their own

So am I.

A big part of the problem is that Americans inexplicably forgot the Bush years with astounding speed. Guess that’s a testament to Obama.

I’m still angry at people who didn’t give enough of a shit to vote, voted third party because they thought HRC was “the same” or worse than Trump, and those that voted Trump as a fun little protest vote, not thinking he’d actually be elected
