Agreed. She looked very unhappy. Also: she talked to Tiffany—which doesn’t seem to happen that often.

Ok—I get this now. Sorry that I took out my frustration w/ other people’s mockery on you.

That’s a good point. I let my frustration over the content of the questions more generally obscure my take on this one.

I would also like video evidence of him using the slur (if it exists).

Let us not forget that this craven asshole wants to legislate our reproductive lives.

I’m offended, like actually offended, that so much attention is given to undecided voters.

I’m probably going to get torn apart for what I am about to say. . . . .But, here goes: I have, for the better part of a year, said that if we disbelieve Juanita Broderick, we are selectively disbelieving an alleged victim because we want to protect the alleged assailant. And I have argued that this is wrong.

I kind of want everyone to stop mocking Ken Bone. I get that some people are mocking his name, or the stupid question he ask, but a lot of people are also mocking his appearance. And I think we should stop.

I feel so awful for Tiffany. Part of me wonders if she ever feels like “Why does he always talk about Ivanka, not me, that way?” I’m not saying this to be bitchy or mean. I’m saying that it would be one of many psychologically normal responses to having your father consistently sexualize your older sister. But

Yeah. . . . I think he may have been “forgiven” if it hadn’t been for how he pressured her into giving Trump a hug. It was predatory. Plain and simple. They had objectified her and then Bush was forcing the mutual objectification into the physical realm. Bush’s role (in addition to Trump’s) went far beyond vulgar

He didn’t apologize—but, for me, that’s the least awful part of his response. He also denied it was sexual assault—and THAT wasn’t even the worst part. The worst part was that he literally did not seem to understand what Anderson Cooper was talking about when he said, “What you described was sexual assault.”

Not disputing this at all. I just really wish we didn’t need video.

I completely agree that releasing the tapes (if they exist) will be a very good thing. Mostly because it will (hopefully) force a greater reckoning w/in GOP. The reason for my original (and continued) frustration was that I wish we didn’t need this kind of *proof* to condemn someone as racist. It’s kind of like

Such an excellent point.

You have just offered up a perfect example of the problem I was talking about. Cheers.

I think it would be good if the video came out (never said otherwise)

Oh god, you’re right. Makes me want to put my head through a fucking wall.

I think you are right—but I wish you weren’t. I’m so tired of the standard proof of racism being that you basically have to be a member of the KKK.

YES!. And this is what bothers me more than anything: hoe we (many in the media, many who consume the media) let him get away with it. For example, Every time we talk about birtherism, we need to say, “Birtherism, which was a movement to discredit our black president. . . .” But we don’t. We just let them get away

*most* of them would probably be like, “REALLY who doesn’t use that word sometimes in private?” or “Remember St. Augustine?! He who has not sinned. . . .”
