She did NOT say that? WTF.
I’m not sure. . . . but I think people in ALASKA, where I’m from, even had them. *could* have been bumper stickers though. People bring racism with them. Wherever they go.
Just the worst. Given, I haven’t seen “Lady in the Water.” But, that’s because the Village was already The Worst.
Jessica Chastain acknowledges that no one can tell the difference between her and Bryce Dallas Howard.
I didn’t even remember that Jeremy Renner was in that movie.
100% agree. Something I see a lot: that someone should have spoken out sooner. This frustrates me too. Because it just logically can take a privileged person a hell of a long time to recognize what’s really going on. Yes, it would be nice if everyone recognized sooner. But at least they’re stepping up now.
Totally agree.
LOL, same, actually.
Agreed that the bar is abysmally low. But, to me, it’s still nice to see a man expressing this kind of solidarity.
Agreed.
I hope everyone doesn’t respond to this by saying, “So it took a man to say it, and people will listen. . . . .”
I had to get back on anti-depressants this year. . . .I was very resistant to it (not sure why). . . . .but, I just needed it at that point (and, also, right now, at this point). I’m in grad school and I think I’ve been experiencing, this year, a lot of the feelings you’re describing—feeling overwhelmed, like…

They were all decisions, informed, at whatever point you made them, by what you thought was best, your human needs, what others told you to do, etc, etc, etc. We all make shitty decisions. I’m not saying, “You don’t have the right to feel bad,”…
I think this is a pretty good way to lay out the data. . . .On the left, women compared to men who share their race/ethnicity. On the surface, this would make it look like the pay gap is less bad for hispanic, american indian, and african american women. . . . .but that’s because hispanic, american indian, and african…
“voters are one thing. Politicians are another.”
This definitely doesn’t apply to the Senate, and particularly not to the house, but I have seen him making inroads with some very moderate Republican voters. . . . . .as much as one can glean from the internet.
missed the biggest news of the day
But Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof says that cocaine talk is nonsense and that no one does illegal drugs at his fine establishment
Good. Next step for ensuring that a bunch of white dudes, banded together in brotherhood, don’t even think about yelling violent slurs at a WOC?
oh my gosh, thank you. . . . also, I meant to say this: Nurses: they really can change your life when you most need it.
