It seems like Dragon Ball is slowly moving away from explainable power levels and now uses them to drive the plot instead. Not necessarily a bad thing. Plot is what keeps the interests alive.

Considering that 3/4 of the series is made up of rehashed content from the movies (Beerus arc, Frieza arc), I would say that the anime-specific content have just only been introduced starting with the Zamasu arc. Yeah, the series is starting to become real good.
If that is true, then it would be a mystery as to why two “Zamasu(s)” would end up differently, both prioritising different abilities (power and immortality). From the fight with Trunks, it seemed like Zamasu himself was not as strong as Black was, having damage immunity as an advantage however.
There are numerous similarities between Goku Black and Zamasu, staring with facial features
Beerus totally axing present tense Zamasu was pretty great..
In context, it’s not as bad as it seems:
Super Saiyan Blue essentially just replaces Super Saiyan 4, and Super Saiyan Rose is the exact same thing as Blue, but because Black isn’t “real”,the hair turns red instead of blue. In the show, they make fun of the name itself, and Black himself only named it SS Rose as a…
It took this series 47 Episodes (I think that’s when this arc started) to get good... I mean, I don’t know how I should feel about that. Even the animation isn’t god-awful anymore. The last few episodes had some really good animation. It’s funny and genuinely interesting now, with some interesting story beats.
I actually really like super especially this arc. It has something dragon ball has been lacking for a while and thats humor, character development, and the new characters introduced have actually been interesting.
It just barely does - Star Trek Generations. The TNG uniforms were being phased out but were still active, and everyone had the new comm badge regardless of which uniform they were wearing.
As a mobile game it’s actually a lot of fun... at first. It does some really cool stuff with the away missions that i like a lot and drives for creating a more versatile crew base. I’m finding myself, having been playing for about a week solid, already creeping up against the pay wall that is “free-mium” and that…
I played this quite a bit this weekend. The first few hours I made huge strides, then it slowed down and now I’m kind of at a crawl. It does get grindy if you don’t spend any money, and I’m a little stuck until I get a character with a better medical rating. Also, the game doesn’t even attempt to explain anything to…
The problem with Star Trek Space combat is really due to the ship concept. Star Trek is basically Naval Ships in Space. So the games have you as captain which means you just give orders, and your crew does it, so auto for everything is about right. It also makes it pretty boring which is why the Star Trek games that…
I would love to watch the episode where Sisko, Rom, Wesley, and Romulan Troi got together to assasinate a Klingon.
That commbadge does not go with that uniform.
You know the Tal Shiar would be involved in this kind of mission.
I give credit to the devs trying to stay true to the Trek universes. However, it might behoove them to hire game designers who have had a successful history of designing fun game play. Most people think it’s easy to design a fun game, but fun (being relative, to boot) is actually one of the hardest aspects of game…
Welcome to the story of how the DigiDestined grew up.
Really good list, the only ones I’d add are Freelancer, Master of Orion 2, and Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries. I was going to say Civilization as well, but the more I think about Alpha Centauri, the more I understand.
Age of Empires? Just throwing it out there.
Some of the games that just missed out: Privateer, Day of the Tentacle, Quake 2, Dark Forces, Dune II, Magic Carpet, Descent, Unreal Tournament 2004
